I was looking for a pot that was made of ceramic, powered by electricity, instead of sterno(I already have those). The nonstick type just end up being scraped and ruined and has a shelf life. I was so happy to find this one Looks great and works great, and is better than a stainless steel one that will definitely have cheese stick to it. This is much easier to clean without scraping off the black. It looks nice too.

This is a great pot that is fun to use and easy to clean. Unlike most fondue pots, the pot does not contain the heating element, so it is very easy to clean in the sink.

Purchased the rose gold base w/white pot for a Valentine's party. It has a great look to it and it went perfectly with the rose gold theme (was the perfect rose gold color). I kept an eye on the chocolate being melted and it never burned. I didn't have to watch it constantly since we let it heat slowly as we were all talking. I consider this a great buy!

I recently purchased a fondue pot with a heavy ceramic pot, and I must say, the quality is outstanding. I'd like this model to get a little hotter for cooking meat and vegetables, and I'd like it to have a longer power cord, but neither of those things would not prevent me from buying another one if I needed two fondue pots with heaters.It works, works well, works easily, and looks nice. It's a great bargain, built well, and has handled cheese, main, and chocolate courses well.

I like the consistent heat of the electric base and this is easy to use and easy to clean. I do wish there were a small version of this. This is great for a party, but for a couple to share, there just don't seem to be great small volume options other than the little candle-heated mini contraptions. We will definitely use this one regularly, but would jump at a small electric one too!

This was a very nice fondue pot. Very easy to use with extra features to prevent spilling if you trip on the cord. It was convenient to have a pot that is removable from the heating mechanism.

I was actually surprised this pot was as good as it turned out to be. The ceramic pot is solid and the whole unit looks great. My only point would be even at a low setting it gets so hot and the first attempt the heat separated the cheese we put into it so be careful of this.
