The 30-Day Burnout Fix is a great resource for those type A folks who are part of the engine of the world, getting so much done, but sacrificing a little too much. The book lays out the symptoms of burn out and what leads up to it. Some great self-assessment tools to help narrow down to what your true issues and causes of those issues are. I especially liked the tips on prioritizing my day in such a way that it's not so ambitious that I set myself up for failure. If you want to have a better work life balance this book will show you how to get there. It's well laid out and to the point, no time wasted, after all it's written for people who get a lot done in very little time and we want to get to the point so we can improve our quality of life and efficiency without burning ourselves out.

The 30-Day Burnout Fix is fantastic. It offers practical solutions for burnout—identify, create helpful categories, and correct. I am a CBT enthusiast, and the author's use of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques impresses and colors my review. But even if you're not a fan, the tactical tools are life-savers! Only downside was my Kindle version had a wonky Self-Prioritization Assessment, probably a formatting glitch, likely fixed now. Wish I had this gem 30 and 20 years ago during my burnout periods. It seriously nails it and will help with any degree of burnout. Get it, fix burnout!
