Beautiful tone and build – feels like a serious instrument
This is my first Suzuki diatonic harmonica, and I picked the Pro Master in Bb mainly for its tone and build quality – and it definitely lives up to the hype.Right away, the construction feels premium. It has a nice weight to it, and the aluminium comb gives it a smooth, solid feel in the hands and mouth – no rough edges, nothing cheap about it. The reeds are super responsive, and bends feel natural and controlled.Tone-wise, it’s warm and clean – not too bright, not too dark – and it has a rich character, especially in the mid and low range. Also worth noting – it’s easy to control dynamics (soft, expressive notes come out just as well as louder phrases).Overall, I’m really impressed. If you're looking for a step up from entry-level harps and want something reliable and great-sounding, this is a solid choice.

Crisp sound.
Solid, robust and great tone.

Well made. Good sound
Nice ergonomic design. Easy to play with a good sound. I always bought Hohner before but I'm really pleased with this harmonica. I'm no expert player but I think players at any level will like this harmonica. Price was decent when I bought it too.

Very nice quality and sound
A really well made harp for beginners and experts alike.im a complete novice and I find this much easier to play than my fender blues de ville.so much easier to slide to notes and also to get clean single notes.great sound and really well made.you can tell suzuki really put thought into this.bice aluminium comb too.my only problem is the case compared to some harps is a little thin but still a great case.a very nice harp altogether.really pleased with it

Simply the best!
This is the best harmonica I have tried so far. I have tried the Marine bands, special 20s, Lee Oskars and the Blues harps. The Suzuki Promaster is the best out-of-the-box harmonica I have ever tried. The reeds are very responsive. The higher and lower notes and easy to bend. The hole 6 overblow is also very easy to reach. The hole 5 overblow is difficult to reach but this can be fixed with some slight alterations to the reed plates. The shape of the harmonica is different but I got used to it within minutes of playing. This harmonica is also very stylish. I can't wait to order my next Suzuki harmonica.

Hohner's are great harps but the Suzuki I feel is slightly superior
Having used Hohner most of the time I thought I'd give the Suzuki a try.Hohner's are great harps but the Suzuki I feel is slightly superior. It has a lovely tone to it.Also bending with it is made easier.it just seems to do it naturally.I would highly recommend it.

Disappointed. Bluesmaster is better.
I’m editing my review as I think I was overly harsh but i still rate it three stars but maybe it’s more 3 1/2.I love the Suzuki Bluesmaster and have owned a couple of them and going into I assumed this would be a slightly more expensive upgrade with a metal comb but, whilst there are similarities, this isn't quite an upgrade.Out of the box this was really terribly set up. Worst out of the box diatonic I’ve used from an established brand. I fixed it but it still just doesn't play quite as well as the Bluesmaster to my mind. It also took a bit of time breaking in. By contrast I also bought a lee Oskar one the same week that didn’t really need much breaking in and, although the out of the box set up wasn’t perfect, it was much better than this one. Looking at the other glowing reviews I might have had bad luck with my particular one. It isn’t terrible but took a lot of work to get it playing right. They feel different to the Bluesmaster due to some design differences. This has the metal plates sticking out from the mouth piece as with some old Hohner models and is what I consider a more retro style design. I imagine this is due to the metal comb. I can adapt to this design fine but give it a very different feel to the Bluesmaster. Otherwise, things are similar. The holes have the same spacing and they sound similar. The pro master is cosmetically nicer though. In short, it is nice looking and after putting in a chunk of work I’m happy with it, but it is not as good as their Bluesmaster models and I won’t be buying another.

Excellent harmonica.
Je n'en suis qu'à mes début, mais cet harmonica sonne vraiment bien. Je l'ai également en Do et en Sol, et j'en suis très content.

BHs. bin sehr zufrieden

Fantastic
Let's see, I'm not a newb to music, and certainly no stranger to the blues. I had first gotten a honer piedmont blues pack. It had a few keys, cheap and a case. First off suzukies don't fit in the case, so don't even try. The harps (the few that worked) clunked out quick, and I was browsing forums for advice on a good harp. Suzuki promaster and the blues master are te two that were best for my spending range. Let me say, out of te box this baby wails. Sounds great, all notes played and the bendable ones did so, so easily infact that I had to adjust how I played to keep from bending everything. The weight is solid. Feels like an instrument, not a toy. Metal, sturdy, heavy, rounded, and it just looks freaking cool, really cool, in fact. Buy this and you won't be sorry. My next will be a low f promaster.Legit
