Great Lego Set With Multiple Options For Play
I've made a lot of Lego over the years, and this set has offered something the other sets haven't which is a true feat. As with all Lego sets, there's joy from the moment you open the box to the play of the end product. This is a large set, and comes in a slight variation of the standard Lego box, which makes it easier to store, being a box and lid type. The build process is fun with so many play features, and then the end piece actually floats. This really is extending the abilities of the Lego engineers, and makes a lovely choice of toy for those that like to play in the bath.Great set!

Lego at its best
This kit has not been opened yet as it is a Christmas present for my grandson. His parents are giving it to him but I ordered it so that he did not see it arrive! It is the one thing that he keeps asking for and as it was on a special price we bought it early. I cannot comment on how easy it is to assemble of course but this looks like an excellent kit. It is not just the ship but has a helicopter, a dinghy and a submarine plus many other accessories. It even includes a Viking shipwreck. It can be played with once assembled and it does actually float on water. It is expensive but is a very large kit with a lot of play value so I consider it excellent value for money and it will make one little boy extremely happy on Christmas Day!

A great product
Our 8-year-old grandson had this for his birthday and I was looking forward to either helping or finishing it for him. To my amazement, he completed it all by himself thanks to the helpful step-by-step guide and it looks great. And yes, it does float, something he has always wanted from Lego. The only problem is the joining of the 2 parts of the hull. When it's complete it is quite heavy and care has to be taken to ensure the 2 halves don't come apart.

A large and floating build with some niggles.
This was a quick and easy build given its size. The interior is detailed and the set is good for play in water and the floor. Lots to interact with and a good range of Minifigs. There are some areas for improvement. The top radar components get knocked off all of the time, especially by younger children. The crane is also a little weak and the winch will come off when played with.Good value for money at the moment. It’s a large set for the price and would be a good present for any toddler who wants to combine Lego and bath time.

Finally a lego ship that floats.
There's not much to say about this lego ship except it's brilliant! We have an enthusiastic 9-year old that has been building, and sinking, many lego boats but now he has a ship that actually floats in the bath. It's a huge ship with loads of features. The only downside is the £124 price tag. I'm sure we could have got it cheaper at another time, but we weren't prepared to wait.
