More importantly, who would you want to meet, maybe for one last time? The regulars at the magical Cafe Funiculi Funicula are well acquainted with its famous legend and extraordinary, secret menu time travel offering. Many patrons have reunited with old flames, made amends with estranged family, and visited loved ones. But the journey is not without risks and there are rules to follow. Travellers must have visited the cafe previously and most importantly, must return to the present in the time it takes for their coffee to go cold. In the tradition of Toshikazu Kawaguchi’s sensational 'Before the Coffee Gets Cold' series, readers will once again be introduced to a new set of visitors: The husband with something important left to say The woman who couldn’t bid her dog farewell The woman who couldn’t answer a proposal The daughter who drove her father away . . . In the hauntingly beautiful Before we say goodbye , Kawaguchi invites us to join his characters as they embark on a journey to revisit one crucial moment in time. The book pages and quality was good in affordable price. You can go for it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by A***G on 22 June 2025* Emotional and reflective loop ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This series keeps on going! *by N***H on 15 May 2024* Here we go again!! The 4th book in the 'Before The Coffee Gets Cold' series by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, 'Before We Say Goodbye' finds itself placed between the events of the 1st and the 2nd book of the series. Based in the Funiculi Funicula cafe of Tokyo that lets you go back in time, the book brings you the familiar characters from the previous books along with the new ones whose stories are narrated. As the name suggests, in each story one of the new customers finds themselves wanting to go back to the past to meet someone who is dead. Each story brings you different perspectives and emotions that are beautifully narrated. That said, the best thing about this series is that each story is well detailed and lets you visualise what you read easily. ## Frequently Bought Together - Before We Say Goodbye - Before Your Memory Fades* - Before We Forget Kindness --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/532628541-before-we-say-goodbye-curl-up-with-this-heartwarming-magical](https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/532628541-before-we-say-goodbye-curl-up-with-this-heartwarming-magical) --- *Product available on Desertcart Israel* *Store origin: IL* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
