Great Vendor, Bad Product
I bought these pants for a bi-annual event, so they only get worn two times per year. I have been using an eastern woodland camo pair for more than 20 years. That pair shows no appreciable wear, but my wife talked me into modernizing. On the 4th wearing of these pants the crotch seam unraveled (photos attached). The cloth did not tear, the stitching unraveled. One of the buttons in the fly is coming unsewn. I compare this with the older pair (now relegated to yard work and worn 32 times a year) that still shows almost no wear and has no damage. The vendor was great. The got the product to my door quickly and their price was reasonable. The poor quality of the craftsmanship in the pants is not their fault. So while I would recommend this vendor, I cannot endorse this product.

Buttons fell off right out of the package.
This isn't my first pair of Propper pants. They don't last the longest, but they are very comfortable for me. This is the first time I've ever had a manufacturing defect. The thread on the buttons was pocked into the fabric, but literally just fell off as I took it out of the plastic bag. If I have to return them it's probably more of a hassle than just fixing them myself.

Good product but order larger size
Really liked the pants. However, if you are a big guy, like me at 6'3" and 350+lbs, you need to pay attention to the sizing. I ordered the size 50 pants and that is exactly the limit of the waist expander. The pants have the typical pull tab to adjust the sizing but if it states 48-50 you better believe they mean 50 on the dot. So if you need a little more room to tuck in your shirt or whatever you should order the next size up and adjust down. The material is super comfortable and feels really durable. I will be using these in the field more often than not. Would purchase again.

durable for outdoors
I have been using Propper nylon ripstop buttonfly pants since 2007 and I put them through hell. I use them for everything including hiking, woodland combat training, woodland airsoft games, martial arts, running, bicycling, and and simple everyday use. The only time they have ripped is when I was doing really rough woodland combat training and a part of the pant leg got caught on some thorns and even then the rip was only an inch in length. I didn't fix the rip for about a year and the rip increased by only about half an inch if that. I have to say that the fit is a bit big around the legs and the length from the waist to the crotch. I just pull up my pants, unbutton the top button, and roll the belt portion over for increased mobility. Another gripe about the pants is that it is good up untill 80 degrees fareheit. After that, it gets almost unbearably hot to wear. Conversely, it is great in the winter and I've worn it for outdoor training with a liner layer in about 20 degrees farenheit and have been fine. I own at least 4 pairs already and will definitely get more. I highly recommend these for any outdoors activities that require good mobility and great durability with the caveat of low ventilation.

Very Good Durability But Watch Out For Buttons Coming Loose
The trousers themselves are very well made. Reinforced seats and knees are a big plus. Be prepared to reattach buttons; they'll come loose. I have several pairs of these in various colors and I've had to reattach buttons in most, if not all, of them. That said, I'd buy them again because the positives seriously outweigh the negatives.

bdu pants
Concerning Proper pants. The only problem for me was waist size. If your waist size is 35-36" max in Large Regular (L/R) you'll get very roomy pants. If you'll decide to try Medium Regular(M/R) I'm not sure that pants will not be too tight at waist. That's why I decided to buy CQR tactical pants in M/R size and I received exactly what I need. The max waist size of CQR pants is exactly 36" ( it is possible to do the waist size smaller than 36 " but its limited by 36"

These pants were very comfortable and grateful none of my parts were showing to ...
After 2 washes I was getting in a truck and the crutch area the seams began to come undone they were ripping. Should have bought the reinforced knee and crutch area ones. they seemed to be well stitched. My next pair will be Propper reinforced pants. These pants were very comfortable and grateful none of my parts were showing to the public

My favorite pair of pants!
I bought these as comfort pants during the Covid19 period, instead of the usual gym pants most slobs wear. I was a little hesitant as the listing has one poor photo of the pants taken from the front, with no image of the back, and also, the listing doesn't even specify what material they're made of. My pair was 100% cotton ripstop, but I've read others had received poly/Cotton blends. Strange! As the size range for most combat pants span a wide range, they're often difficult to get a good fitting pair....a medium fits 32" to a 35" waist I believe. I am 6'1" tall and weigh 190lbs, with a 32" waist, so I was expecting them to be very loose, but they fit perfectly. A medium regular fit like a glove and no hemming either. My wife hates military clothes, so I get he extra pleasure of annoying her ever so slightly. These are the most comfortable pants I've ever owned, and great for every day wear and I would imagine, good for wear and tear.

This is my second pair
I have never bought any clothing without trying it on first, but when I found these pants online, I had to purchase them. I was not disappointed.Pro:They are well built, and can stand up to any work loadThey are a comfortable fit (36" waist for Large)The material is thick and durable (may be too hot for summer)The pockets are huge, no problem of things falling out of the cargo pocketsThere is plenty of leg roomConThe buttons are large and can have a hard timeThe belt loops could be a little thicker for duty beltsThe sizing is off, a large may fit a 37" waist ( I have a 36" waist with a little bit more room)The waist straps do not stay secured.Overall I do recommend these pants for heavy duty work, I did buy a second pair!!!

Get rid of the buckles!
I was backpacking in Algonquin for days. The only thing that hurt more than the blisters, or my sore body after carrying 20kg+ for hours at a time were the buckles in the side of the pants!!! It felt like my skin was being chafed untill it bled. It was agonizing. If the manufacturer doesn't get rid of them, I suggest you cut them off and buy a good belt. Otherwise comfy pants. Do wear these in the rain.

Huge compared to normal sizing.
Well made, but grossly over sized compared to other similar products. My brother is excessively corpulent, so gave them to him.
