Excellent organic brown short grain rice!
A bit expensive compared to white rice, but it’s more than worth it. Great taste and texture. It has great nutritional value.

Great Nutty Taste
I've heard that Lundberg Farms are the only grower/producer of brown rice that is not tainted by GMO strains. This big bag is economical and the rice keeps well in the bag or I put them in a canning jar. I love short grain so much more than long grain--it has more substance and more flavor and I think Lundberg Farms is top quality. It cooks well on the stove or in my Instant Pot. What's not to love about this product?

Best Brown Rice
It really is the best brown rice. No rinsing needed. Always tasty and chewy.

Organic brown rice grown in California
I eat a lot less rice than I used to but when I want some, my husband likes to have a say on what type of rice we buy. My husband is really picky about rice. He's concerned about arsenic. He's concerned about pesticides. He believes that Lundberg is the only brand out there that meets his unrealistic expectations. This bag was previously found at Costco for way 3X less than what we paid on Amazon but inflation hits everyone's pockets differently. Our Costco no longer carries this rice. I finally caved and purchased a bag from Amazon because I was tired of trying to scrimp and save on the smaller bags of rice. This brown rice cooks up well in my rice cooker. It has a nutty aroma to it and works in all sorts of recipes.

A household staple
I can't say it's a debate, but there seem to be loyalists on both sides of the short-grain vs. long-grain divide. I'm a short-grainer; I just like the short-grain texture and the mild brown-rice flavor. If there are advantages in brown rice's nutrients or fiber, so be it. That's not what I keep coming back to. I'm just here for the way it helps everything else on my plate or in my bowl.12 pounds is a fair bit but I go through it fast enough. I mean, not like the family of six that has rice at all three meals, but I cook a pot of it more than once most weeks, and do have it at all three meals some days. Also, I like the convenience of ordering it on line, not worrying about which retailers will change product lines unexpectedly.-- wiredweird

Using For A Long Time
This company's rice is always of high quality. I've been using it for a very long time, & appreciate them using their fields for migrating birds.
