Needed a replacement light for my driveway, and this unit came up in my search. I liked the fact that I can go from Soft wite to bright white if needed and could also adjust the brightness of the unit depending on what's happening. Most of the time I'm running this in 48 W mode, but if I have people coming it's simple enough to switch to the higher output to light up a bigger section of the driveway. Solid construction, easy to assemble and it fit right over my existing 3-inch light post. The unit is mounted about 6 feet off the ground and provides very good light coverage. If you can mount it higher, you can cover a bigger area. At 6 feet off the ground, I can cover 2 car lengths in any direction from the post.

This outside lamp arrived well packaged and just as described. It is quite sturdy and seems very well made. Attached well to our existing light pole. This lamp is just so nice. Soft, lovely, bright light. When lit the light forms a fairly large pool of light that illuminates a large area. The light faces downward so it doesn't present a distraction to cars driving by. It looks fabulous in the yard. Actually, I think a display of several of them on a property would look great. Very happy with purchase.

Installed these at our lake place, one on the shore and one on our pier on ten foot posts. Pier is 20' x 20' at end of 60' dock. As you can see, plenty of light. Light on shore is white; on pier more yellow. Will likely move the shore light to more yellow so it isn't so harsh, but nice to know it gets that bright if needed. We had our electrician install them while re-doing electrical wiring on the pier, but I could have done it myself. Nice light that is plenty bright.

We already had a light pole in our front yard when we bought our house but it was old, plastic and way beyond the end of it’s life. We cleaned up the pole, painted it black to match the new light and added a few reflective stripes for visibility at night when the light is not in use. Installation was a breeze. From start to finish we probably spent 20 minutes getting it wired up and installed on the pole and most of that time was used to find the right tools, breaker and ladder. The light looks great (it matches our garage light too +1). The body seems like it was built by NASA with very heavy duty specs. It feels very solid and strong. The final result is a modern light that we hope will last for years to come.

This light is a line voltage light that needs assembled, it takes fifteen minutes to assemble the light and then another five minutes to attach a wire or cord. To test it I used a cut off extension cord that I use for testing lights. When we install these we will put them on 3” PVC pipes that we will paint black. The light is very high quality materials and construction and is a commercial quality fixture that will last many years to come. This is a light that you will never find this type of quality or style or bargain in a local big box store.
