MSR Dirt Grey Lightning Flash Snowshoes

I bought these and returned them in exchange for a pair of MSR Lightning Ascents. The Flash series snowshoes are similar to the Ascent series but the foot binding are less stable on the Flash. Also, the Flash shoes are missing the Televators of the Ascent series. If there is ever a chance that you could be hiking up 20+ degree inclines, or hiking thru deep powdery snow, the extra money spent on a pair of Ascents will be an investment. The Televators are a great relief to the calf muscles when making long continuous ascents, and if you sink into a drift it's good to pull a foot out with snowshow still attached and still correctly aligned.

Great snowshoes, durable and lightweight. The only problem I have is that they dont offer any cool designs so I have resorted to putting stickers and stuff on them so people stop asking if I rented them or something.
