Infuriating
Good simulations and the graphics are superb. Some of the challenges are really difficult to get though, for instance I played Fun-House to death in the arcades 10 or so years ago, but cannot complete the master trophy requirements!

Best pinball simulator based on real pinball tables out there
I've been a fan of pinball from the early eighties. I especially remember playing theatre of magic as I thought it was the best table I'd ever played. I always thought it would be fantastic if a company brought out console versions of real pinball tables.Well, now they have. Every table is faithfully reproduced. I played all the tables on the PS3 and I'm playing them again on PS4They look absolutely amazing on the ps4 and I'm looking forward to the 2nd season of tables being released. These tables took months if not years to be developed as pinball tables originally and I think that's why they play so well. This is as close to owning 20 £1000 plus real pinball tables as you're likely to get.

As close to the real thing as you'll get
Firstly pinball may not be everybody's thing. and certainly if you've played the slightly disappointing PS3 version you may be a bit wary of this title. However Pinball arcade is is the closest to real tables you're likely to get. And they look better than ever in their virtual recreation. Those who remember Gotlieb Pinball Classics from the PS2/PS3will get the general idea, as well as recognise Black hole, one of the tables. On this PS4 version it is presented crystal clear with the lighting effects you could have only dreamed of 2 generations ago with no loss of detail. Mechanics are pretty good too. There is a slight delay in reaction time on the PS3 version but here the game play is fluid. With a little practice you can master the tables.Overall I would not recommend the PS3 version as it does have some flaws which spoil gameplay (as pointed out by the 1* review) but the new gen version as as good as Pinball gets

Just one more go.....
With a lack of PS4 games available I downloaded this to just 'give it a go' and I was more than pleasantly surprised. It's got that just another go factor. Simple game play, customisation options including table views and balls, and loads of tables to try. I also downloaded Zen Pinball which has a different quality, and between the two I've played this one the most - in particular the Arabian Nights table. Pinball Arcade accurately models tables by various Americal companies and gives retro gamers a chance to relive the originals albeit in electronic format. Ball physics poor? I don't see it. The flippers react depending on how hard you squeeze the buttons R2 and L2 and that's my only niggle. I'd prefer to use the triggers instead as you do in Zen Pinball. I understand there's a patch due at some point to give this option as well as clean up audio. Pinball Arcade is great fun and I'm in no doubt I'll keep returning to it.

Best pinball game ever
For me, Pinball Arcade is the finest simulator/emulator of real Pinball there is. And on the PS4 it is the best experience you could wish for. For the money, you get all 22 tables from the Season 1 table pack, ranging from Attack from Mars to The Twilight Zone for the price. What the developers have done, is take a variation of tables from Bally, Gottlieb, Stern and Williams and put them into one place. All of them are amazingly detailed and accurate to the smallest detail. The graphics, animation and lighting has increased in detail for the PS4 version, plus you can adjust the light in the room, which really shows off the detail of each table to its fullest. Whether you are a pinball fanatic or just curious about Pinball, this game is an excellent starting point for experiencing the golden days of these machines. The tables have never looked better than they do on PS4, and the gameplay is authentic right down to the sound and pressure of each tables’ flippers, making an absolute must purchase for all fans, and newcomers too. There really is something here for everyone. The only slight minus for me, is the limited camera angles, but that is it.

Well done game venders for Pinball Arcade. Truly the worst ever Pinball game in gaming history by a mile.
Downloaded this on the Playstation Network and played it on the PS3 and I must say it is the worst Pinball game of all time I have played. The ball mechanics are completely rubbish the camera view are complete crap and that being over generous. The game playability is awful. I got a £7 version which included 4 tables and I felt completely and absolutely ripped off. So if you are thinking of paying over £30 for a large number of tables then think again. There are better Pinball games out there for the Dream Cast console like Pinball Fantasies which cost considerably less money has graphics which are easily as good far better playability better ball and game mechanics. If you want something which is even better still look at Pinball HD if you have a IPAD even if you buy all the tables it will cost you less than £10 and each off the tables is far better with way better playability, much better graphics, sound and the whole game runs much faster and you keep wanting to have another game to beat your high scores. If I could have given 0 stars for Pinball Arcade I would have been more than happy to it really was that bad a game so truly avoid this game and save your money for something far better. I cannot really see it being much better on the new Ps4. Better Graphics and higher frame rate aren't going to turn this into a worth while Pinball game when the game mechanics, playability camera views are all terrible. So please don't believe the hype of reviews and Playstation network ratings the game is total utter garbage I would rather play Pinball on a retro games console like the Commodore 64 than play this totally sub standard game on the Playstation 3 or Ps 4 as even the latest console the game won't be must better
