In addition, when you have a smart TV, the video application must absolutely go through a digital optical cable if you want to hear the sound elsewhere than on the TV speaker. It comes with three connection options: 3.5mm AUX, Digital Jack or Toslink Optical. The quality of the included optical cable is poor. I suggest to use a good digital optical cable, otherwise the sound will not be clear. With my cable, I did not meet any audio delay.It seems to have a lot of buttons but it is easy to use. First, choose between transmission or reception from one side of the device, then select Aux or SPDIF on the other side. Whenever you change your setting, reset it. The receiver mode will be the blue light and the emitter mode, the green light. It is possible to control the volume + and - and the previous and subsequent tracks by the device, but in SPDIF connection, these controls do not work. You must use the control of your headphone.The Archer device is complete and easy to use. You can connect to your old stereo system and receive music from your phone. The sound quality that comes out is good. There is no distortion or lost power. Two headsets can be connected at the same time in transmission mode and can be used during charging. The Bluetooth transmitter receiver remains charged for a long time and recharges completely in about 2 hours.

This is advertised as an "AptX Low Latency" product. It's not. It's just a standard (high latency) SBC codec. Pairing is also slow and the buttons are very stiff and badly designed, it's easy to press the multi-function button when you meant to press the volume up, volume down, or sync button. This might be one of the cheapest transmitters/receivers on Amazon but it's still not worth the money. I'm going to try an Avantree transmitter since the two products I've bought from them have worked well so far - and are actually AptX Low Latency!
