What a poignant and beautiful story.Even though it makes your heart weep several times throughout Marigold and Cade’s journey, it’s that kind of book which leaves an echo with you even after you turn the last page.Let me tell you it wasn’t an easy journey, in the prologue itself my heart broken and young Mare stole it immediately.There were many many dreamy moments and I highlighted so many beautiful beautiful quotes. I will never look a Marigold Flower without thinking about this book again.I thought I’ll never be able to pick a favourite scene in this book but the epilogue, yeah, that stole the show. I also loved the last chapter. It somehow felt right that they reach where all the heartbreak started. I know I’m being vague but I don’t wanna give even one tiny spoiler that’s why.It took me time to connect with the book initially (up to 40%, so if you’re like me hang in, it’s worth it) maybe because this is a new to me author.I’m also not a big fan of flashback writing because sometimes it gives me so much anxiety knowing they have already broken up and imagining all the worst scenarios.Overall a very well written book with amazing characters and a deep abiding love.Recommended, safe and KU.I received an advance review copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

I loved how well written this book is. It's really hard to do a second chance romance justice and Kat did that amazingly. A very emotional read from the beginning. This book will make you feel all of the feelings. It'll make you happy and it'll make you cry. I loved every second of reading this book.The amount of spice this book has is just a cherry on top of the cake.If you love reading books with second chance romance, small town, best friends brother and a whole lot of spice - then you should definitely read this book!

This was so swoon worthy! second chance is one of my top three favourite tropes. and i am very picky when it comes to this. but damn kat really did a good job with this one.Rewrite Our Story holds a perfect amount of angst and spice, along with scenes that will make you GIGGLE. Cade is such a dirty talking man, and Mare being an author and her books earned this book a lot of sm**ches from me 😭😩🫶🏻Read the tws and while this book is angsty, spicy and swoon worthy, it also has some major heart wrenching scenes <3

This book was just AMAZING! Everything about this book was top notch. Tropes covered:Second chance romanceFriends to lovers to enemies to loversGrumpy x SunshineBest friend’s brotherSmall town/cowboy romanceAnd SPICY as hell.UGHHHH this book made me feel so many things! The only reason this is 4.25 and not 5/5 is because Cade and Mare ANNOYED ME SO MUCH WHEN THEY FOUGHT LIKE 16 YEAR OLDS WHEN IN REALITY THEY WERE ADULTS, but other than that, yeah this book was all fuzzy and hot and comforting and spicy as hell. The spice level was 3/5 and it’s something coming from someone who reads too much of spicy books.I loved the small town setting. I loved Cade and Mare then they removed their brains out of their butts, which didn’t take long, and I LOVED THE BANTER AND THE SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE. GOD THIS MADE ME FEE SO MANY EMOTIONS AND I COULDNT PUT THIS DOWN. AT ALL.An absolute delight this book has been and I can’t thank the author enough for sending the pre arc copy for this book! Can’t wait to dive into her other books.Oh, and the book will be out on 11/05, AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED AS WELL, so you might as well get your hands on it.All my love and big fat thanks.

First of all, Kat Singleton is abiding by their surname, which is making us all feel single throughout this book. The best storyline I've read so far. No character seems to be forced and great character development throughout the story. I admired the love story of Mare and Cade. I wish I could visit Sutten irl just to see them living their life happily and together after all the misunderstandings and mishappenings in their life.

Let me start this review by saying that I'm not into the second chance trope it's just somthing i can't seem to get into no matter which book I read but when kat announced that this was going to be a second chance I knew I had to try bcs I've yet to read a book by Kat which I didn't love. This book was no different I love the angst, the swoony scenes equally.This book shuffles between past and present. The chapters from the past helped us to understand the depth of Cade and Pippa's relation. They have been in each other's life since they were kids and when a tragedy strikes in Pippa's life she turned to Cade for comfort even as a kid but then Cade broke her heart so that she could follow her dreams and in doing so he broke his too.Years later now they are both grown ups but something happened and Pippa had to go back to the town she grew up in and to face the man who broke her heart. Cade never moved on from her neither did she so them getting back together was inevitable.This was heartbreaking at moments but knowing the things Cade had done for her was healing. Cade is the book boyfriend everyone needs, he is the best supporter and comfort one could ask for.🤌

3.5 starsOverall the story was cute but I felt like the miscommunication was something that could have easily been resolved if they loved each other that much. It just shocks me no one reached out ever. The loss of Kaces mom didn’t feel like it effected everyone as much as it should have for how important she was to everyone and I just didn’t feel very connected to the characters.

2⭐️How difficult was for me to finish this book. I love second chance romances and this had promising elements like small town, second chance romance, angst, spice, but, didn’t work for me.The writing style is good, and the time and place transitions are very well executed, which is something I respect. However…The entire “misunderstanding” was not a misunderstanding at all. The guy told the h he didn’t love her, right to her face, looking into her eyes. She left and decided not to go back because it hurt.But the he was upset and cruel and acted as if he was wounded and justified his attitude… I mean, what?! Obviously, the story’s managed in a back-present format that tries to uncover the anguish and the reason why everything happened and it ended being very random. This didn’t justify anything.Also, I’m all about smut but this book has a very extra cheesy one. It ended up being hilarious instead of sexy. It didn’t work for me.Yet, I’m intrigued about Pippa’s story.

I have always loved a good small town romance. But this one, this one did it for me.Everything about Cade & Mare was absolutely poetically perfect. The way they loved each other so much that their love held throughout all the years of grief, pain and suffering. They really are the perfect couple.I of course cried, and had some screaming moments. But it was all entirely worth it, and I can’t wait to see what Camden & Pippa get up to.Also, the playlist was PHENOMENAL. So all around, this was amazing and I loved it so much.5 stars. Easy.

Such a cute story with some good spicy bits thrown in! There were a few small plot inconsistencies where timelines and character were confusing for a moment, but they didn’t take away from the beautiful story! Can’t wait to read Pippa’s story!!

This book had me in a serious chokehold... I could not get enough of it and when I tell you I felt ALL the emotions the characters were feeling I would be putting it lightly! This is a must read for sure...the angst, the tears, and more importantly the love... 1000000/10
