Big caveat up front: The default button mappings are absolutely horrible. Not just “quirky”, but objectively bad for any mouse. Some buttons trigger OS-level actions in the worst possible places. However… On Windows, this is easily fixed using the open-source tool AutoHotkey! Once remapped, the mouse is fantastic. (As for non-Windows... perhaps another Linux user can let us know about running a daemon closer to bare metal or reprogramming the mouse’s EEPROM :) Back on topic... this mouse is plug-and-play. Definitely don't download unsigned “drivers” to fix this mouse. If AutoHotkey is unfamiliar to you, it is an incredibly versatile and widely used tool. In this case, it allows you to remap the problematic buttons that interact with the OS into sane, usable inputs. After that, the mouse is excellent. I'll append this review with a minimal example AutoHotkey v2 script showing how easy this is. Replace the scancodes with whatever keys you want. Everything else: For the price, the build quality is excellent. Nothing creaks, nothing feels loose, and it does not have the hollow disposable feel many ultra-budget mice do. It is noticeably heavier than my last (even cheaper) mouse, but I don't care about mouse weight, and it feels solid rather than cheap. The grip is comfortable and well-shaped. Connectivity is good. Bluetooth works reliably and switching USB-C is painless. No dropouts and no lag that I can tell (my use is playing with brother across the pond on ~200 ms ping; not claiming lab-grade latency testing here). Aesthetics… well. I'm planning to hand some metallic sharpies to my 4-year-old daughter and ask her to improve on the existing decorations. I am confident she will. The mouse is great does what it's meant to do pretty well. Love the ability to switch from Bluetooth to 2.4 and vice versa. Love the LED lights and the additional buttons. Thing that can better. Everytime you put on the mouse the DPI and LED setting reset. Which is so annoying having to set up the mouse everytime you turn it on to use. Theres no way to know the DPI setting you're on. This plus the earlier point makes it frustrating having to press the DPI button a million times.

No software but X-mouse works with it on windows. But only on 7 standard buttons. 4 are completely fixed, Fire (Rapid left click), switch apps, Browser, and RGB lighting. The best gaming mouse that has tri-mode connection. In Android, right click brings up the touch and hold menu. Back is back, the Browser button is home. Switch apps isn't switch apps, double click isn't zoom. Ctrl + on my new bluetooth keyboard isn't zoom either Selecting text is a effortless, click and drag. Will need to turn off bluetooth on a previously connected device, to avoid pairing issues with a 2nd bluetooth device. SIt be nice to be able to have every button have a function in Android but at the moment, there is nothing better on the market. And tri-mode means you can connect to anything anywhere. (I hope.) It was good as the beginning but after a year of use for coding and gaming the clcker doesn't work anymore.

At the time of purchase - the product listing for this KUIYN G6 mouse states: - Programmable buttons - PLEASE NOTE: This mouse has no driver software and cannot program the buttons. - Please note that the driver and programmer only support Windows systems. So which one is it? I did a fair bit of digging and found a match on the website for "Shenzhen Xinshijie Industrial". This software was not signed nor was there an English version available. There was a link on a YT video however many commenters claimed that this was a virus. I gave up at that point. This leaves the mouse stuck at the 5 normally recognised buttons - plus additional non-programmable features. As another reviewer commented - X Mouse Button Control can give you access to the 5 standard buttons but it's oblivious to the additional ones. For reference - these extra buttons do autofire, show desktop (i.e. Win-D), new browser window etc. - everything you could ever want as a gamer (sarcasm...). This is such a waste of potential - because the basic mouse is very good. Tracking is great, silent, low-profile clicks, wheel feels substantial yet light etc. - all great. The design is very appealing - shame about some of the wording on it ("ROBOT" would have made me cringe as an 8 year old!). This still has value and is very good for the price. But as the product that is "kind of" advertised - not for me. I am returning it and going with a reputable brand (you know who).

The silent click buttons take some getting used to... But other than that it's a great bit of kit.

Works very well with my xbox series s the only issues I've had is the LED lights flickering not sure if that's due to low battery also the usb c charging port at the front of the mouse is not easy accessible. I've attached a picture of the USB frontage picture.

Die KUIYN G6 Tri-Mode Gaming Maus ist wirklich ein Eye-Catcher! Mit ihrer RGB-Hintergrundbeleuchtung sieht sie nicht nur fantastisch aus, sondern bietet auch eine sehr gute Haptik und Präzision. Ich bin besonders beeindruckt von der Vielseitigkeit, da sie sowohl kabelgebunden als auch kabellos über 2,4 GHz oder Bluetooth betrieben werden kann. So kann ich sie je nach Bedarf flexibel einsetzen. Die Maus ist ergonomisch und liegt gut in der Hand. Mit den 10 Tasten und der Feuertaste ist sie perfekt für Gaming und lässt sich zudem gut an meine Bedürfnisse anpassen, dank des einstellbaren DPI. Ein wirklich starkes Gerät mit tollem Design und guter Performance. Sehr empfehlenswert!
