Great basic mics for fun maker projects
These little guys are perfect for my Arduino audio analysis project, but with the understanding that the connection can be tricky to keep the noise floor down. It was perfect for my VU meter project but not quite as good for my FFA driven LED array project. I had to do more filtering to get it good enough. That FFA was a bit over the top for this but this could make a great clapper-like sound switch.

Good product
Need to create script that basically decodes the input…. Not fully familiar with that lol

Great for sound detection on Arduino
Worked perfectly for my project. Needed to detect sound to make lights work with audio and came out great. Nice and cheap but worked great and compatible with my Arduino

Clean boards!
This has been a solid purchase for my setup. The board is compact, cleanly assembled, and reliable for prototyping. Documentation can be light, so I checked the pinout and voltage before wiring. I would buy it again.

Mic and pre-amp module max4466
I used these mic/preamp modules in a project that I 3d printed, a Sound activated esp32 neopixel lamp. The modules arrived quickly and worked perfectly. The PCBs look great. There's a gain control on back. I have used 2 of the 3 I ordered and had no issue at all and the 2 lamps have been running nonstop since the modules arrived with no issues at all. I have not tried to record or listen to the audio this module outputs. I am just flickering lights with audio peaks.

Great audio quality at an affordable price!
I was able to get great quality audio from these microphones using a TI Launchpad MCU. Audio data was collected using analog pin and onboard ADC. Data was transferred via USB to pc where it was processed into WAV files using a python script with clear recordings. The key is to have a good understanding of sampling rates and capabilities of your hardware to achieve good results.
