AC Mirage
Mirage a game with a good story line and combat is great too but not better then unity or origins but it gives a nostalgic feeling to old ac games I’d say 5 stars can’t hate this game because Ubisoft really pulled through

Great game! Basim is an arrogant ass of a character.
Amazing game! Basim is as bad as it gets. From the very beginning Basim starts to turn into an egotistical assh*le. His ego grows and grows. To start with he is quite helpful and kind to the inhabitants of Anbar but as time goes on. Basim becomes more self absorbed with being more than human. Nehal is a cunning and bitter twat of an imaginary friend who's only goal is to make Basim a more selfish kind of assassin and as assassins go that is unacceptable to the brotherhood. The creed comes before any individual pleasures and Basim wanted to see what he could become. Well, he does and the ending is awesome as Basim gets clawed for his antics throughout the game by Enkidu as the bird recognised that he became sometging else entirely. He was always destined to be Loki and Roshan should have ended him the moment she started noticing he was becoming more and more obsessed with finding out what secrets the artefact held about himself. It wasn't to see if he could help others and he even insinuates roshan controlled him. Which isn't the case. Basim to start with says that " He is merely the son of a public servant who dedicated his life to the betterment of his people..... Only to slighted and forgotten. " So all this crap about basim not being evil to start with. Not at the very start but Basim was already a bitter man and he became resentful even back in the Abbasid Caliphate days. Basim is a good assassin. Nothing special though. But compare him to Bayek of Siwa and Basim literally sucks in every way, shape and form. Don't get me wrong I like what Basim stands for to start with. But as soon as he starts his stupid egotistical bs. That was it for me. Basim is so easy to hate and the game makes no qualms about showing you his true colours from the very outset. The game does have a decent story though. But basim is not a nice or well rounded assassin. He is a man who's only goal is to be something more than human. Which should yell you all you need to know about his own hubris in that particular aspect. Basim is like that nice kid who won't shut up about how much he should be this and that. Only to one day reach his goal and completely become a not so nice arrogant d'bag with one goal in mind. To be better than everyone else. That's my 2 cents as to what I understood from the game. Basim was ultimately always going to be the bad guy as he wanted more than what being a human had to offer. Arrogance personified is what Basim is.

A good game but there is issues
Just got the game today. I’ve got around about 5 hours into the story. So far it’s good. The combat and stealth aspects of the game are really good. The loot is promising and cosmetic looks are nice. You can tell they’ve spent time designing them. Baghdad the city is very well detailed.Issue I have so far ( only played around 5 hours ) is that the story seems to drop at times to the point you zone out. Then it perks up again. Don’t know if it’s just bad writing or what?. The writing seems very child friendly at times , even though it’s a 18+ rating 😂. Some assassination moves are bug … e.g when you assassinate a guard by a crate or object it’ll launch you on top of that object for no reason. The mission structure is horrible. You have to do around 3 mini quests to unlock the main quest. I hate this structure. The mini map … well bar is horrendous and needs to be improved. They’ve should have stuck with the AC2 upto black flag mini map.Find at times when you are transversing through the city there isn’t any music? All you can hear is just back ground noise. Remember in AC2 when you visited different areas you got different music?. Well this doesn’t have it here.Such a shame really. The combat , loot , cosmetic designs and secret quests are really good well thought out but the mission structure , writing and music hasn’t. I always say that music improves a game , film etc by at least 50%.AC Mirage is a good game. Don’t get me wrong. I’m just stating what I’ve seen and played so far. Hopefully it gets better?.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Launch Edition - A Stunning Return to Form!
As a longtime fan of the Assassin’s Creed series, I was eagerly anticipating Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and it did not disappoint! This Launch Edition offers an engaging experience that harks back to the franchise’s roots while introducing fresh elements.Story & Setting:The narrative centers around Basim, a character from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and takes place in the vibrant and sprawling city of Baghdad during the Golden Age of Islam. The story is compelling and immersive, filled with rich lore and intriguing characters. The writing is top-notch, drawing you into Basim’s journey as he navigates political intrigue and personal challenges.Gameplay:The gameplay mechanics feel refined, with a greater focus on stealth and parkour, reminiscent of the earlier titles in the series. The return to a more traditional Assassin’s Creed experience is refreshing, with less emphasis on RPG elements. The combat is fluid and satisfying, and the variety of parkour moves makes exploration a joy.Graphics & Design:Visually, the game is stunning. The art direction captures the essence of Baghdad beautifully, with detailed environments that feel alive. The attention to detail in the architecture and landscapes enhances immersion, making it a pleasure to explore every nook and cranny of the city.Content & Value:The Launch Edition includes some fantastic bonus content, enhancing the overall experience.
