Purchased for camping trips when no WiFi is available. Used it this past week and it works great! Easy to connect to my mobile hotspot, and our tv channels were available with no issues. Definitely recommend.

I bought this dongle to cast my iPad screen onto the screen of my exercise bike (TechnoGym Ride). I use Zwift and ROUVY for my ride apps. Sometimes these dongles don't work properly if they're a cheap knock-off of the real Apple product, but this one works fine. Connectivity is via an HDMI cable from the dongle to the bike and the picture quality is pretty good. It isn't 4k, but for my purposes, it works just fine. It was a good value and much cheaper than the Apple branded product.

I DID manage to get it to work with a monitor in my office, but I needed it to work with my laptop. My laptop (ThinkPad) refused to cooperate with this accessory. So, it does what it says it does, but keep in mind that it may not work with a ThinkPad. Shame. It's a very handy adapter.

It works but is not Consistent it flickers on & off and I have to move my phone a certain way to make it work again. It gets warm fast too. Sad shame I take pictures of all of my notes or pages that I need to remember it’s easier for me to access anywhere when I need to study and being able to put them on a screen is even better! To bad that we are in 2025 with AI & devices still don’t work properly.UPDATE: the Seller reached out to me & offered me a refund & that service alone alone is worth 10 stars! I likely wouldn’t buy this product but would certainly shop other items from this seller for sure!

I use the adapter to attach my iPhone or IPad to a HD TV to watch streamed shows. Well made & works as intended. The cord length could be a bit longer, but overall a quality product & picture.

This device is really great since you can HDMI and charge your phone at the same time. It is really great if you hook it up to a tv and see your phone. I know that you can also mirror to your tv.

Does not work! Terrible tried everything

This works well and lets me use an iPad, displaying on a TV, with my indoor biking setup. There are a couple of caveats: 1. The adapter uses a lot of juice (it contains a "system on a chip") and you'll want to attach a charger while using it. Without the charger, it'll drain your iPad in 1-2 hours. 2. The output is not 1920x1080, at least on my iPad. The result is narrower, not making full use of the TV screen. It uses the full height of the screen and scales properly.
