These are wonderful to hold your bag open. I use it at least once a week. Great for when you marinate steaks. I have been using them for years now and this time I bought two just in case I can’t find one in years down the road.

Used these to prepare freezer meals. I used this kind, and the other clippy, extending kind. This one worked SO much better. Since you're folding the bag over the top of the arms, it doesn't collapse, or unhook from the stand. This is my 2nd time purchasing because I use them so much. A little awkward to use with bags smaller than 1 gallon, but worth the money if you prepare freezer meals with any frequency

THESE BAG HOLDERS REALLY WORK GOOD.

I process and freeze produce in the summer and fall which is far easier than canning for most things. I can freeze berries or grapes on a cookie sheet then store them in a gallon bag and take what I want for smoothies all year. Roasting pie pumpkins for pies, ice cream, smoothies or muffins is great since it's super easy and because the little pie pumpkins are sweeter than whatever they use for canned pumpkin, you don't need as much sugar. I freeze other things in quart bags and have a holder for those, but although that unit supposedly works for gallon bags it's not as good as this one that holds them more steady and more open. This is a useful product. Stores flat in my pan lid drawer and opens easily for use when filling the bags.By the way, about roasting pumpkin, all you have to do is quarter them and put the pieces on a cookie sheet at 350 until very tender. When cool, you can easily scoop out the seeds with a big spoon and peel off the skin. So easy, it's silly to buy pumpkin in a can.

I had the larger green one for years and it finally broke when I was a little aggressive trying to clean it. It was my fault and obviously I ordered this set because I like how sturdy they are.I use them when I'm assembling my sous vide bags for turkey at Thanksgiving as they keep the tops clear of liquid so they seal well. I also use these when I make cold press coffee with my milk nut bag or for straining things like gravy. Want to make snack bags with trail mix? This makes it hands free to pour in the items.They are very handy and easy to store because they fold down.
