I have been searching for a holder for the car where I can put my phone so it's easy to glance at while I'm driving. I tried one of those grabby things that attaches to the a/c vent, but it would come loose sooner or later. This holder is exactly what I wanted (but didn't know it). My phone is in a wallet-type holder. the two brackets that hold the phone pull out and leave plenty of room to hold the phone sideways. I can let the case cover drape over the back of the holder. I'd attach a picture but I can't figure out how to take a picture of the phone while it's in the holder. If I do, I'll come back and add a pic.Bottom line: outstanding product. Highly recommend.Later--I'm back with a picture. For obvious reasons, my phone isn't in the picture. I wanted something with a small enough footprint that it would fit on the ledge in front of the backup/radio screen. It does stick out a bit, but enough of it fits to stick well. How it will do in the middle of a Texas summer when the temperature inside the car can get to 145 degrees, only time will tell.

Easily the best cell phone holder out there. I wanted something to stick on my dash that will hold my old spare cell phone and be rotatable. I have a dash camera but it's suctioned to the windshield and does not swivel/rotate.So using an old cell that has a camera and no data card or phone plan and just laying around in a desk drawer, I repurposed it as my cop camera. Should I ever need to video anyone at my car window I just need to dbl click the home button on my old J7V samsung phone to activate the camera, press record button, swivel the phone to the drivers window and bingo, I'm recording everything. And playback is super easy Vs my dash cameras. Don't toss or trade that old cell, buy this MEIDI cell phone holder and make your own dash camera. Easy peasy dude's and dudettes!

I had a phone holder that attached to my vents in my old car but when I purchased a new vehicle and tried to switch the holder, it didn't fit my vents because they tapered. This is very small and fits that tapered vent nicely. However, I have an Otterbox on my phone so that is proving a bit of a pain. The magnet that goes on the phone doesn't stick to that outer flexible part of the Otterbox so I put the magnet on the plastic case under the outer layer. The magnet is strong enough to adhere to the body of the holder but the phone with the Otterbox is a bit heavy so it doesn't stay up at the angle I prefer to be able to glance at GPS without taking my eyes quite so off of the road. The other thing that I wasn't thrilled with was the lack on instruction; there are several adhesive magnets and the instructions provided are very small and more pictures than words. The other catch is that I use a flat charger rather than a cord and I now have to take the phone out of the Otterbox each night to charge my phone since the magnet prevents it from connecting to the charger. It's still a decent product and I'm glad I bought it. The issues are minor and not related to quality or value. I am not disappointed with the purchase.

Thin mounting plate tapes to dash. Holder sticks to base plate with suction (perfect hold). Base swivels easily to angle your device. Spring loaded tensioner allows quick placement and removal of my Galaxy S24 Ultra with Otterbox case and holds it firmly enough. Can manipulate everything 1-handed. Its the best dash mounted phone holder Ive ever used.

Did not fit my Honda Ridgeline vents. Was in the way of the gear shifter. The grip/motorized clamp was an interesting addition to the MagSafe charger mount.Returned product for refund. Still looking for an alternative mount.

Took it on my trip to San Jose... (caveat the Kia Soul is not a great match, ducts are really strange)... once I found a duct it would go all the way into it worked great (for some reason the Soul has blast shields behind the louvers which block the insertion). It held firm in the duct, held the phone well and it was easy to put the phone on and take it off.

Saw the ratings on this product and because I’m pretty picky, wanted to go with one highly rated/reliable. Everything was great in the beginning, but came back to my car from work one day 2 months in and the whole top and button clamping it down had popped off entirely, and only the base and spring remained on my dash. Had to search my car for the parts, and tried to reassemble with no luck. Completely unusable. Why spend money on a product that only lives for 2 months and is rendered useless? Please make this right.To the product’s credit, one thing I can say is that it removed itself super clean and easily off my dash. Kudos for that, but big thumbs down for the product being unusable thereafter. Not cool.
