This arrives in a brown cardboard box with black print so you'll know there is a hob of some sort inside it if you need to store it a while before having it fitted.Box measures approx 37.5cm x 12.5cm x 66cm.Inside the box, you get another full, sellotaped closed brown cardboard box which is very slightly smaller than the outer one.Inside that, you finally get to the hob which is packed in polystyrene foam & comes with a lead that has no plug on it (ready for an electrician to wire in, with the cores stripped back for quick fitting).This is not designed to be used as a freestanding hob, but as one permanently fitted into the surface of your worktop & does require a hole to be cut into the worktop.Once fitted, this is very low profile, heats up fast & looks neat.If you seldom use a full sized cooker, or more than 2 hobs at a time & have an air fryer you use instead of your oven, this could be a great space saver in a small kitchen to replace a full sized hob.I have a portable electric hob that lives in the cupboard I can pull out on those rare occasions I need a 3rd or 4th hotplate & using this means I get back valuable worktop space in the kitchen.Seems good value & so far is working well.I do wish it came with a cover though, so I could use it to put stuff on top when I'm not using it (which is most of the time).

Great if you only have a small space or like me are wanting to increase your cooking area by adding the 2 new rings.Works very well as described and looks great also.Recommend.
