This castor oil is amazing and exactly what you would want in a product. J MAC BOTANICALS is a fully certified organic castor oil that is cold pressed, pure unrefined, hexane free, in a glass bottle, and a family owned company. This product has sustainability features recognized by trusted certifications and contains at least 95% organic material. I have used this at night as both a soothing & moisturizing facial oil, as well as applied to some skin imperfections/bumps and covered them up for sleeping to wake up with some pretty amazing results & noticeable healing/shrinkage; I am excited to see the end result. This is an excellent product and I will be restocking immediately when I run out but this is definitely a very nice sized bottel and it may outlast the expiration date, lol!

I recently experimented with this thick Castor oil, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by its effectiveness. While it does require a bit of patience for the skin to fully absorb it, the results are well worth the wait.I found that nightly applications did wonders for my hands and nails. I was especially amazed to see my previously thin nails become stronger and stop breaking and shredding.Here are some of the key points:PROS:The Castor oil comes in a dark tinted glass bottle, which I appreciate for its safety. I ordered this brand because a dark tinted glass bottle does not break down from the constant contact of the Castor oil. A plastic bottle, on the other hand can be effected by the Castor oil and leach into the oil. And if used, the toxins are also absorbed into the skin.The quality of the oil is excellent, and it seems to be quite fresh, as it is lighter and less sticky compared to older oils.The packaging was protective, ensuring the safe delivery of a liquid product.CONS:One minor drawback is that using this Castor oil straight out of the bottle can be a bit messy. To remedy this, I purchased droppers for the bottle from Amazon, which made application much more convenient.In conclusion, my experience with this Castor oil has been overwhelmingly positive. It's a powerful skincare solution, and with the right application method, it has been a game-changer for my nails and hands. This review is specifically for a bottle of Castor oil."

Love that this is organic. I have very dry skin and have been using it on my legs and feet/heels. Amazing results vs using moisture lotion. My skin stays soft for 24 hours after using it when I come out of the shower (apply to moist skin). No moisturizing lotion that I've used in the past 30 years had done as well. Downside is this is of course oily and has to be applied with care when getting dressed to avoid getting it on your clothes.

As someone with dark, puffy eye bags due to thin skin, I decided to put this oil on my under eyes every night. I’ve been using this oil nightly for 2 months now, and it really hydrates my under eyes. While I cant say it directly lightens the skin of my eye bags, it visibly strengthens the skin there, making it less see-through and therefore appearing more normal colored. My makeup goes on them smoother now too. This product is very much worth the price

Great stuff! Came in a dark glass bottle to keep it fresh. Not too thick. Haven’t used it long enough to rate its effectiveness.

It has very little scent, which I really appreciate, and it absorbs nicely into the skin without feeling greasy. I love that it’s USDA certified organic, cold-pressed, hexane-free, and chemical-free—all huge wins for me. It’s also made in the USA and not tested on animals, which makes me feel even better about using it. I’ve already recommended this to friends and family. Five out of five stars!
