The heated rug is sensibly sized and provides adequate gentle warmth, The control unit is simple, however, the green coloured mains supply indicator light failed within minutes. The unit continues to operate well and has proved very useful, the red on indicator light functioning.

Heating is very nice to have at my desk - it works.Cons: very plastic switch broke after 3 days (can no longer change setting or switch off), just too big for my under-desk foot rest, so a bit awkward when it keeps sliding around.

pretty amazing for keeping your feet warm. i have tried a bunch of other products that claim to do the same thing but this is by far the best. the problem with other products include the safety feature where it turns itself off after an hour, this doesn't turn off unless you tell it too turn off which is amazing. it's probably illegal but tbh i prefer it like this.other products i have used get luke warm, this product get very hot. not hot enough to burn you but it will get uncomfortable if you leave your feet on them for an hour straight, atleast thats the case for the highest heat settings. if you put it on 1 or 2 it isn't hot enough to feel uncomfortable.the heat mat is wide enough for you to comfortably have your feet on it. unlike other products which are too narrow and make you sit like your inside a canoe. the surface is comfortable too, unlike other plastic products i've tried before this has a carpet like feel which is fine. they could improve this slightly to something like beurer hk125 xxl which is extremely comfortable but not a good product for the desired purpose.my only issue is that i use earphones and these cause interference by way of causing my earphones to make a very quiet hissing noise that i can hear if i'm not listening to something but have earphones in my ears.don't have cold feet anymore :p

Updated review:I recently purchased an Electromagnetic Radiation detector after watching a documentary on the effects of mobile phone masts. I played around with the device at my workplace to get readings off the 4G masts standing just outside. To my surprise, I discovered this foot mat purchased two months ago was a major source of electromagnetic fields (EMFs). I read up about EMFs and heating elements. Turns out, this is a well known issue with older underfloor heating but technology moved on years ago to reduce EMFs by insulating wires and not creating a wire loop. Unfortunately, this mat is uses old technology resulting in extremely strong EMFs exceeding the Environmental Protection Agency's recommendation of 2.5 mG by 80 times!I've attached photos showing the EMF readings for the mat on, the mat off, the office carpet and a couple of comparative readings for our office microwave running.I've stopped using the mat because I think this it is basically microwaving my feet.Original 5 star review:I've always had freezing feet and my office is a glacier (I sit next to a large window right under our aircon vent).About 5 years ago purchased a foot warmer which recently broke due to poor-ish design (electrical on/off dial melted).So I looked around and found this mat design (which did not exist 5 years ago).I could not be more delighted! It is far far superior to the previous foot warmer (pictured with the new one in the photo I've attached):- The mat is larger so I can comfortably move my feet around and it keeps warming them (vs. the small surface of my previous foot warmer).- The mat is flat so my feet are not raised by a couple of inches resulting in discomfort from my legs touching the underside of my desk.- The mat does not get as hot (to the touch) as my old foot warmer but it definitely heats my feet better - probably because of the carpeted design which produces better contact with my shoes than the old foot warmer's flat metal plate.I've only had this for a day, so will update if it stops working in the next year, however, if you have cold feet, I absolutely recommend this product!

It's early days yet with this heated mat/rug but it's already proved to be a big hit with my wife!The item seems well made and warms up quite quickly. The fabric of the carpet part is nice quality and the edges are taped off securely. It's way too soon to have an opinion about its durability but the build quality does inspire one to think that if not handled roughly then it should be okay. It's main usage is for a garden house and the heating system built into the mat works very well, keeping the wife's little tootsies very warm and comfortable. Once up to the desired heat setting (there are three) the temperature seems to stay constant which is good. Also, the size of the mat is about right and it sits nicely on the floor under a table.I was also impressed with the packaging as the mat was sent in a box that ensured it was kept flat during transit. The Heated Mat ticks all the boxes at the moment! If the wife is happy... then who am I to complain?

Got this for my nearly 70 old dad whom works in some cold conditions and was complaining about having cold feet especially during the winter. He tried this as soon as he got home and set it to the highest heat . He said it got too hot after a while but was great for when you’re just in the door for a quick heat and then turn it down to the lower settings.To show how good it was my mum came home from a walk . When she came in the door she asked was the heating on with a shudder. Dad pointed at the mat and said “Yes”.

Didn't make any difference to a freezing cold floor, returned for refund

I only received this a few days ago but I have to say that so far it is one of the best things I have ever purchased. I absolutely love it as I suffer with cold feet working in an office and I find it difficult to concentrate when my feet are like a pair of ice blocks. This may is just perfect, it works even with shoes on but is better with shoes off. It is discreet and completely silent so perfect when working with others in an office. I can not recommend enough. Oh and I received it quickly and perfectly packaged too :)
