Best portable grill available. Use camping, ice fishing and picnics. Sturdy and reliable. Fourth year using and have not replaced any parts. Bought as Christmas gift for son-in-law and loves it too two years later.

I just got back from 11 days on Lake Erie for the CMP National Match. I took this grill in addition to a flat top to cook for our group of 5. For the price, this thing is hard to beat. I used it daily for hot dogs, brats, carne asada, Italian Sausage and more. On match days, we even took it to the range to cook lunch in the parking lot. As noted, the cooking surface isn't as even as a multi-burner grill. Keeping an eye on your food and moving things around as necessary solves that problem. It was actually helpful to be able to move food to the edges to keep it warm.Ease of assembly will depend on your abilities. I'm mechanical, so putting it together took much less than 15 minutes. All parts were in the box. A screw driver is required. I knew to be aware of the loose fitting for the regulator. It truly is designed to be that way so don't get any wise ideas with washers, etc. This is a safe design and altering it will affect performance and safety.I just finished cleaning it. The enameled burner cover cleaned up with dish soap and a sponge. I got the loose bits off of the enameled grate and threw it in the dishwasher. The inside floor of the grill cleaned up nicely with degreaser and a garden hose. The grease cup also cleaned up easily with some dish washing detergent and a sponge. After it dries, I'll pack it up for the next adventure.The only issue I ran into was the piezo igniter. It is wired per the instructions and I see a spark but I was never able to successfully light the stove with it. I never go camping without a lighter so it wasn't a huge deal and we didn't have to eat raw meat. I would have gotten the stove without the igniter but, having it, I did expect it to work. I'll tinker with it before the next outing.I would recommend this grill. I'm sure there are better ones out there but I didn't find any at this price. I've had other one burner compact grills and this one is the best of the lot. I'd buy it again.

My absolute favorite grill. I am on my 2nd at the moment, with a 3rd waiting in the wings. I've always preferred a good solid portable grill like this over a standard big grill. I like the ability to move one this size around anywhere at the house to grill, and take it on the road if needed. Now, I don't cook out for a lot of people, so if you plan on loading it up, then maybe this one is not for you, but if you are looking for something well built and portable, this is for you. It has a built in gauge, lighter, porcelain 20" grill (larger than other portables), and is very solid. The first one lasted a long time.

Nice BBQ. Heavy built, large size, just what we need for camping. We put it together and tried lighting it as soon as we got it. We could not get it to light with the igniter, It has a spark about one third of time, but a very weak spark that won't start anything. It is very tiny, doesn't shoot out at all, and doesn't start anything even when the gas was left on for too long (don't try this at home!), we could smell gas everywhere, and it probably should have exploded! Very disappointing for an otherwise high quality BBQ. I you don't mind having to light it with a match, or buying your own better quality igniter, I recommend it so far (haven't cooked a steak on it yet), but if not-keep looking.
