This is my first set of ear buds. I have always used over the ear cans but they get very uncomfortable after an extended period of use. These ear buds fit very well, stay in place, and provide great hearing protection. I actually rode my bike with them and they stayed in place. Easy to operate, as well.

When I got the ear buds I couldn't figure out how to work them. You just have to insert them in your ears and a voice will tell you they are turned on. DUH! I'm not a techy. I asked for help on how to turn them on and got an answer back in less that 30 minutes. Great customer service. I'm using them for shooting and they are working fine. I've been wearing hearing aids for over 16 years so I'm use to stuffing things in my ears. These ear buds come with lots of different options for a good fit. The ear buds create a nice tight fit so they deaden the shot noise yet I can hear range commands or my friends when they are speaking. It sure beats the ear plugs plus the ear muffs where I couldn't hear a damn thing! These buds are a good price, good quality, work well and the sellers has excellent customer service.

Not even 1 star. Don’t go to the range using these or you going to be def. It has as much noise canceling as my $10 Amazon earbuds. I tried all the settings and ear tips. You know it’s trash as soon as you flip it open, not worth more than $15. Sound quality worse than my $10 buds, I spent 45min today trying to get both buds to connect and produce sound at the same time. I wouldn’t shoot anything more than a 22cal with these on, you can hear a normal conversation next to you with canceling turned on, compared to the iPod pro you could be next to a 223 going off and it would be easy on the ears and not hear anyone talking to you. I ordered the new Bose pods until the new iPod pros come out. Not to mention these trash pods don’t stay in your ear very long cuz it has no form to help it stay in the ear other than the plug, this trash is getting returned. Oh and constant static when noise canceling turned off.

Product is great except for the fact it hurts the inside of my ears and doesn't feel right. Feels like cardboard in my ears. Sound quality is okay, could be better for the price, but hey they are for the range so can't complain. Would probably stick with regular over the ear muffs.

Good fit overall and Comfy. Only downside I would say is the hearing enhancement. Would be nice if if could be adjusted like a volume control not just three set settings. There are times the lowest setting is still too loud. But does cut off when a loud noise happens.

I own the Axil wired earpro and was very unhappy with the quality and fit of that product so I had reservations about trying this product but decided to give it a try and I am so glad that I did. I wore these for six straight hours on an outdoor pistol range (9MM) and had no comfort issues, at all. I did notice that the birds chirping from time to time made it hard to hear conversations but clear assertive commands from the range master were all easy to hear, even during range activities on the line. The ear bud foam sizes are diverse enough for me to find the right fit but I had to wear three different sizes over three days to figure out which set would result in the least/most amount of ear fatigue and for me the smallest diameter foam worked great. I look forward to the real test on an indoor range with rifles.Quick word about music over Bluetooth - I tried this function and the music streamed fine for several hours throughout my two test days and I think the audio quality was great. I have not tested this with phone calls but I have no plans to ever use the phone while on a range but it's nice to know that such a feature exists.Seems like our ears are all different so your mileage may vary but for the outdoor range, this is a clear winner for me.I recommend trying these if a good return policy is available because anything earbud-related is a gamble but I think this product is well worth it.

I have struggled in the Florida heat with ear muffs for many years. Always looking for something in ear that actually works for me. I have tried several products -- some from Axil -- that have worked but just not perfect for one reason or another. These do exactly what I want them to do. The small plugs fit perfectly in my ear, bluetooth connects effortlessly when you take them out of the case, listen to music, take calls -- or just shoot. With the sound function on, you can clearly hear surrounding talk -- and know the direction it came from. They protect your ears from the high decibel sound of gun fire and you can clearly hear your hits -- especially on steel. This is really a great product from Axil. I choose to order from Amazon to get their terrific Prime shipping.
