I received the first bowl broken off the base. I contacted the seller and they sent out a replacement which wasn't broken so that was nice & I returned the first. The bowl is beautiful, but really smaller than what the picture appears. Its nice to put smaller fruit in (grapes, cutie oranges) but for apples or regular sized oranges, it doesnt hold a lot of them, so definitely choose a larger sized bowl.

The vase is elegant and has a Bohemian style. The design is classic European and fits the dining room well. The vase is made with high-quality glass that easily looks like crystal glass. The medium size is perfect not only for fruits but for candies and chocolates too. The package was secure, and the bowl arrived unbroken. The vase is heavy and stable. It is very attractive on a dining table and the golden elements definitely catch the eye. I especially like the cut glass elements. The bowl would make a perfect birthday gift.

Notice the picture of the stem, a fragment of the cheap glue used to connect the stem to the bowl. Can't quite fathom why an item like this would be manufactured in two pieces rather than one, but this is how it arrived out of the box. Shame, because it's a nice looking bowl aside from the fact their is no warning whatsoever that it would arrive this way - not in the product description on Amazon - not on the box, and there was no paperwork inside. To the contrary actually - the box specifically says "1 pc." This could have been sold as just a stemless bowl and it would have been just fine, but there's no reason manufacture it in two pieces then do a half baked job of assembling the two pieces.I wouldn't recommend against buying this bowl for yourself, so long as you're aware you may end up needing to use a high quality glue to reassemble it or either use it as a flat bottom bowl (not sure yet which option I'll choose). However, I would not recommend buying as a gift that the recipient may have to fix right out of the box.Other than this "1 piece" bowl arriving in 2 pieces, there are no other defects such as chips or cracks. Sadly, I have to rate this nice looking bowl 2 ⭐'s - 1 ⭐ for each piece (minus the glue fragments).

This looks even better in person than it does in pictures. It comes boxed very nicely in Styrofoam. I was shocked by how heavy it is. I don't even have to worry about my cats knocking it down! It makes a great centerpiece!

I got the large size. This is surprisingly heavy glassware at about 8 lb. The designs beautiful with gold accents. Some of the decorations at the base seem to be glued on. As a result, you cannot put this bowl in the dishwasher nor soak in water. Hand wash only. Makes a nice home worming gift.
