Highest quality available
I had another relay harness of qood quality that kept burning out relays at the connector plug, so I decided to try this one due to its reputation for quality. This Hella connector is way higher quality than any one I've ever used and it was obvious! The wires were thicker, the connector plastic was thicker and more solid and the fitment into the relay tolerance was very tight and sealed up well. Hella is definitely my go to brand now.

Very solid construction, weatherproof, name-brand. Well worth the added cost.
This review will also be posted for the matching harness. Haven't installed yet, but it looks like I went with the right relay and harness. I browsed for a good while (way longer than I should have for a silly relay) and I definitely could have gone for a cheaper version and been alright. However this relay is intended to switch power for an accessory block on my motorcycle so I wanted something reliable. To start out, I will only be installing heated grips but eventually may add more items. This relay is solid. Way better than your average auto relay, and it comes from a quality name. The harness is equally impressive. 12 awg for the load carrying wires and it looks like 16/18 for the others. Pretty good length as well, which seemed to be a common complaint from the cheaper items. The relay and harness are also weatherproofed, which isn't required but is definitely a nice touch. Very solid connections - I could've gone much cheaper and bought an average relay and used spade terminals instead of a harness vs. the $30 I spent for this setup - but I'm happy I went for the better relay.

Does not come with the heat shrink connectors
Part of the reason I ordered this more expensive Hella connector instead of the Jegs connector is that it shows it coming with heat shrink butt connectors on the end of each wire. I figured that their inclusion would cover the price difference, but alas it doesn't have them. That being said the wires are of the proper gauge for 30/40amp and I'm sure it will do its job quite well.

First-class automotive quality
I bought this Hella wiring harness to use with a Hella 007794301 automotive relay that I also bought and have reviewed. The harness is first-class automotive quality. The connector body, gasket, terminals, and wires all appear to be well made and worked well.If you are using the matching Hella relay, this harness will make it very easy to hook up the relay to your car's wiring system. In my case, I soldered and taped the wire connections, and that worked very well. I installed the relay/harness under the dashboard, so I have not tested how waterproof the connection is. But it does appear to be very good automotive quality, so I believe it would be waterproof if installed right-side up. Upside-down, water might be able to leak into the connection, but you wouldn't normally use the relay in that position, anyway.Although the Hella wiring harness is somewhat pricey, you get what you pay for in terms of quality and ease of use, so I would recommend it.

Wire colors are off
I'm giving this relay harness a 3 star rating because of the wire colors being in the wrong pins. The 85 wire should have been black and not blue and the 86 wire should have been blue and not black.. <~ Unless I'm just ignorant to electrical wire colors. Ultimately, if you read the relay pin out and correlate it with the harness pin out, a wire is a wire regardless of the color. I'm not going to test the waterproof seal of this, but I'm almost positive this thing is waterproof because of how much force is needed to remove it from the hella relay that I paired it with (part number: 7794311) I used this to power some light bars on my 4wheeler, it worked first go.

High quality! Cross Country Dirtbike Approved.
Ran 2 of these with the matching water proof relays (HELLA 007794301 Weatherproof 20/40 Amp SPDT Mini Relay with Bracket) on my street legal dirt bike for the AC headlight and brights. I activated the relay with my DC circuit to control my AC circuits. I mounted them right behind the head light with the wires coming straight up to the sky (only way I could do it) I ran wire loom over the wires but besides that they were completely exposed it the elements. Me and my brother then rode from Arizona to North Carolina in the summer of 2014. It DUMPED rain on us for a combined 3 days. Really we hit some of the hardest rain I've ever seen heading into San Antonio. Never had a single problem with the relays to this day. Withstands the harsh shocks and environment of the Arizona Desert too. High quality!

Quality stuff worth the money
I used these to build a weatherproof wiring harness for the headlights on my older Land Cruiser and I have to say this is quality stuff. I would trust these things to still work fully submerged in water. You can feel how quality they are once you hold them in your hand. Definitely worth the money!
