at first you think it's a mess! Too small, too much hair, too pale, and a fold... First, see how small it fits. If you don't wear wigs often it'll be best if you buy a cheap stocking cap or do rag. If it's so small that you can't keep it on. Try stretching it, then run ha hair dryer over it for a few minutes.itll take out a bad fold, left from shipping. Now on each side cut the cap about a half in near but through the stitching.it gives it a lot more room. Now remember it's not suppose to be too far down on your forehead. Richard O'Brian is bald... Set it so the ri g of hair sits like a crown, nut up too high in the back. Use wig pins if necessary to hold them down. (You can get them at a beauty supply company, they look like regular bobby pins, just straight, and no rubber on the tips.) makeup also helps. Riff raff is very thin, so brownish eye shadow on the temples gives a good look of thin, that you can carry down to your sunken cheek, and dark under eye makeup. The most important thing is thin the wig. His hair is fine,thin, straggly... So pull clumps out all over. It's synthetic, and usually losing hair is a bad thing, but not here. Especially around the face. Lastly, you may not notice but he puts his hair behind his ears, and most importantly the hair in the bag is sort of tucked into the back of his jacket! Hope this helps.

The wig looks better in person than in the advertisement pics. My daughter used it for her Columbia costume. Worked like a charm!

So I bought this wig a couple weeks before halloween, and was super excited when it came in the mail! I was doing a full on Rocky Horror Magenta look, so I was really happy for finding this so cheep! Anyways, I didn't try it on until the day before Halloween, and of course, something went wrong. The wig was crunched up from the packaging, so it didn't look a thing like what I had ordered. So I left it out of it's package for around 5 hours, and it finally started to resemble what it should have looked like! So i put it back on, but to my luck, another problem formed. The wig had a huge bump on my forehead. It looked like a huge tumor had formed. A pair of scissors helped with that issue, though it took me so long to fix. Finally, after hour of fiddling with scissors and a comb (That eventually broke, because the hair on the wig was so thick) I got it to look almost perfect. I wore it on Halloween, and got so many compliments. But, by the end of the night it decided to expand, and so the half the had the tumor i cut off of the wig on, was down to my chest, while to other side was still bunched up.It worked though, and thats all I care about:)

I have not yet worn this wig beyond trying it on when I first got it, so I cannot attest to the quality. I can say, however, that there are probably better choices for a Columbia wig if you are really trying to match the movie.First of all, the wig is NOT RED. I read reviews that said it was not as red as it appeared in the images, but I was not happy to find an AUBURN (ie. reddish-brown) wig in the package. The tag even says auburn!Second, the hairstyle is not even remotely similar to Columbia. You can kind of tell this from the picture, but it is incredibly apparent when you put it on. The hair is much longer than the close-cut bob style Columbia has.You can't beat the price though. Guess I'll go at it with a pair of scissors and some hair gel.

This wig wasn't great, but that is shown in the price. Arrived very messy and tangly. Wouldn't compare it to Magenta's hair either. I was better off buying spray hair dye from a halloween store and curling my actual hair.

The hair is weirdly too nice for what it’s supposed to look like. It didn’t fit my head, the bald part was too short, and the hair wasn’t stringy or as long as in the picture. Overall just weird.

I was anniatly disappointed.. It was kinda jacked up looking when I 1st removed it from the bag. After I did some trimming to the ends/crazy frizzy parts, lightly combed through(my finger's worked best for me) & just reshaping it some I think it turned out pretty good! I bought the Magenta costume as well & I'm overall happy with it! My fiance and I are going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I'm really excited! If your not wanting to fuss over a wig and just want to put it on and go... Then you won't like it all! Otherwise, for under $20 it's a good find!

This was my first time wearing a wig so I don't really know what to expect. It fit my head just fine, it was heavy or too hot. In the package it comes in, it was pretty smashed. You will need to buy one of those wig heads, They are not expensive, I got mine at a Sally's hair supply for $5. You might also want to get some hair detangler and a comb. DO NOT BRUSH. I didn't brush it but some hair did come out. Like I said this is my first wig, I wore it two different times the week of Halloween. One to a Rocky Horror movie viewing and to work it worked out great for me. I would recommend it to someone for sure.

For a costume. It fit well and brushed out pretty good. Some hairs fell out but it was as I expected.

It was a giggle for Christmas day, doubtful it'll ever be used again.

I read a lot of bad reviews on this wig, but i thought for the money i would give it a go, im glad i did, when u take it out of the bag give it a good shake and run your finger's through it, if you're using it for magenta u will need to trim it and pin the front back, but honestly it's fab

The rubber scalp part is yellow and misshapen. doesn't sit flat, rubber sewn to hairline really really poorly, rubber bags and looks really stupid. Can't be worn as is and can't be returned or refunded. REALLY REALLY REALLY mad about this!!! Will be returning all other items bought that can be returned as I am totally against supporting this!
