World War 2 Messenger Motorcycle Meets Tron Light Bike (Now with One-Year Update!)
I needed a vehicle with which to get to work. This bike inhabits a legal no man's land between motorcycle and bicycle. It has pedals, right? So functionally and legally it's a bicycle. That means that I can legally ride in the breakdown lane, and I don't need a motorcycle endorsement to any drivers license. No license, no registration, no nothin'. Just my style. I do wear a helmet, though. I call it my Tron helmet, with the flashing lights and the flip-down smoked visor. The bike is an engineering marvel. And the fit and finish are impeccable. The welds are flawless. Whoever welded this frame was a true expert. Any accent pieces on the bike are metal, not plastic. And the messenger bag is an aesthetic masterpiece, the cherry on top of a fine piece of work. The motor is powerful and the battery is large. The acceleration is quick, without being inappropriately aggressive. The acceleration curve, dictated by the controller, is set to maximize fuel efficiency and to be a safe ride for those less experienced, while still being satisfyingly fast for the more expert rider. In short, the acceleration rate is the perfect balance between quickness and fuel efficiency and safety. The bike will be comfortable to ride for those 5 foot eight to six foot two.The kickstand seems to be slightly long, meaning that the proper parking geometry is impossible to achieve. If you were to park this on a level surface, even the slightest wind would blow it over, a wind that would never blow over a high schooler's properly parked Schwinn. I just paid seventeen hundred bucks for this thing. I'd like it to lean over a bit to the left when I park it.This is a capable bike that is also way cool and also affordable. What more do you want? And, you know, in the upcoming Great American Zombie Wars, I will have the ability to manufacture my own electricity. I will not have the ability to manufacture my own gasoline. Just sayin'.Update:I have now been riding this bike every day for the past five months. I have put 1445 miles on it. The poor girl finally gave out. The motor self-destructed. She ground to a halt a hundred feet away from the crest of the final hill on my way to work. I pushed it to the top of the hill and rode the rest of the way downhill.I still give this bike five stars. It rides great, handles off-road trails well, and still turns heads.I will contact the manufacturer about perhaps getting a replacement rear wheel, which contains the motor. One bit of constructive criticism I have is that I wish the headlight projected more to the sides. On a moonless night, seeing side streets and driveways is difficult.One-Year Update:The fine folks at Smartravel sent me a new rear wheel at no cost last year. The rear wheel contains the motor. I installed the wheel and was back up and running in a half hour.I have included a video with this review. I now have 1650 miles on this bike. In the video, my trip ends with a flat tire, which most definitely was not the fault of the bike. I somehow ran over a three-inch nail.Excellent product, excellent price, excellent support!((I will have to compress the video before I can upload it.)

Incredible e-bike
Awesome e-bike! Was easy enough to assemble out of the box. I’ve topped it out at 35 mph going on a slight decline. Flat roads it will go about 28-30 mph. Uphill it will go 9-15 mph depending on the incline. It’s very durable and awesome looking. I’ve gotten many compliments on it so far. Definitely worth it for the price. I even took it out in a snow blizzard and it performed amazing. If you want a sharp looking ebike to either commute to work, go to the gym, or go on an off road trail in the woods, this is the bike for you!

Tire stay flat!!
The communication with the manufacturer is trash!!! There is no point buying a protection plan! Because they do nothing if you have a issue. Only buy this if you can fix it yourself! I love this bike if I could use it! I got 2 flats in a matter of weeks! It’s perfect if it works!

Might help with decision
First and foremost, this bike is an amazing looking bike and fun to ride. I've now had it for several weeks and put it through its paces. Easy to assemble and ride. However, when I first got the box and unpacked, I did have to realign my rear hub due to not being set on rear straight from the factory, and second, the seat had a small tear in it. I am still waiting for the replacement seat as of this review. Now my perceived flaws and problems. My friend and I both bought e-bikes he bought an AVANTREK Cybertrack 500 watt bike. This bike outperformed it on flatlands, at top speed, and going downhill. this bike is rated for 30° incline as for my friends ebike 10° incline, his bike has more torque from the start and going uphill his bike outperformed this bike on almost every Hill from 10° to 30° incline and even some that were slightly more. His bike excelled at climbing and acceleration, which I must say was one of the biggest disappointing things about the bike. I live in Eugene Oregon and surrounded by many hills one of the main reasons of getting this bike was due to riding too and from work and around and most definitely the ability to climb hills. So my frustration with the bike isn't in the looks and the overall performance my main concern is with the lack of torque and the ability to climb. Most e-bikes will have issues climbing hills they will slow down however a bike that's marked 1200 watts for 30° incline should not get beat by a bike with 500 w and a 10° incline both my friend and I had switch bikes to verify the results I weigh more than him so I expected to see different results however on his bike I was still able to beat my bike with a lighter Rider I'm not 100% sure there is a flaw within the motor the controller or whatever it might be. This is the most disappointing part of the whole bike I spent $1,600, whereas my friend spent $700 on his ebike and I was only able to outperform them on the flats and the biggest concern when I bought this bike was the ability to traverse hills with ease so I am very disappointed that I was outperformed on the one main reason I purchased this ebike. Also, can not get rear rack for bike, have to make custom.Update: had a issue with hub and had to contact Smartravel. Mary, made contact shortly after I send the issue Had to send video and work with Mary who guided me on sending the video. After receiving the videos. Mary was quick to help and resolve the issues. She even gave me options to help and much appreciated. So I have a new hub coming and I have support if I need it. Thank You again MARY.

Comfortable riding, cool appearance
This e-bike blew my mind, it's the best e-bike I've ever bought. The quality is very good, and the accessories are also thoughtful, such as the mobile phone holder. This is an added bonus. Installation is very simple. It can be completed by 1 person, and it can be used after installation. The appearance is very cool. The seat is wide and soft, and it is very comfortable to ride. The speed can be adjusted in 5 levels. When I was riding in the community, my neighbor asked me where I bought it. They want it too. This is a perfect purchase. cool
