Not for 12 inch vinyl storage.
Not big enough for 12 inch vinyl records as advertised. They're well constructed otherwise. I'll repurpose them but buyer beware.

Does not fit records
Whoever designed this got their measurements off. But it’s doing it’s job as a temporary storage box until I get my shelving back in place.

Adequate
These boxes are a little tricky to assemble and are not very sturdy- I returned them

Albums do not fit in this storage as pictured.
I was so excited when these came - they are sturdy and really good looking. Until I put my albums in and realized they were too short - the lid sat on top of the records, not on the top of the cube :( this made stacking them imposssible unless I wanted to warp records and they rub on the top of the records. Such a bummer - I had to return. None of the reviews mentioned this - my recommendation is get a 13 inch cube to better protect your albums. The picture of the product, has the records fitting under the rim of the box, that is not the case - see my picture above.

Surprised
Box is a little too small to fit vinyl records. I could only fit them in diagonally. Now i use it for storing cd, tapes and dvds. I had to purchase another brand.

Great storage solution for vinyl
I inherited a bunch of my dad's records after he passed away. I had them in a storage tub, but I thought this might be a better solution. And it was-- the two cubes take up half as much space as the bin, and now I have an empty bin that I can put to use elsewhere.I can't explain the math behind this, but the square cases for the records fit into the cube differently depending on how they're arranged. My first photo shows the records when they're placed into the cube with the handles on the side. They fit nicely and the covers don't exceed the top of the cube.However, when you put the albums in the case with the handles positioned on the top and bottom of the cube, they don't fit correctly, as seen in my second photo as an example of a less than ideal positioning. Again, I can't explain the math, but make sure to put the albums into the cube with the handles on the side.I would absolutely recommend these storage cubes.
