This backpack is really fantastic, it's built well and has a ton of room. It seems very rugged and the straps are fantastic. I really like this backpack and look forward to taking a few trips with it soon.

This is a very high quality bag. I wanted to like it so much, but ended up returning it only because it wouldn’t work for traveling like I like. It doesn’t open like a suitcase more like a traditional backpack with a wider mouth. I wanted to use it for backpacking around Europe but it’d be too inconvenient for getting items out and putting them back.Great bag though for a more standard hiking bag. Or short term travel bag.

... I have acquired quite a few backpacks from Amazon, and most of them are nice too, but usually at a considerably lower price. It's my understanding that Roark has a good reputation, and some may argue that "paying for the name" is involved here, and they may or may not be right.
