well written
Enjoyable read. A fascinating insight into the world of the premiership footballer. The highs and lows and Mario Balatelli. From someone who did it all and managed to come out the other side successfully. A well written, honest and at times very funny story.

Great book from a non-football fan
I am not a huge football fan but I heard the author, Micah Richards, talking about this on Radio Five Live just before Christmas and I just jumped in and bought it. A decent read, I read it in three sittings. Even if football is not your thing, I think this is worth a look.

Quality
I'm so glad he burst onto the scene. What a great read for the football fan. Insightful, informative and most of all, funny and witty. Well done Micah, like your style.

Warm and engaging
I’m a Man City fan so I’ve seen Micah play and his appearances as a pundit. He always comes across as a great guy with a fantastic sense of humour. In this book he proves that no end. He’s really honest about the mistakes he made and things he could have done or handled differently. He gives a really honest account of his career and a great insight into the dressing rooms he’s been in and the characters involved. All in all this book is really interesting as Micah provides a glimpse into the life of a modern day footballer.

Micahs book
Whilst there were some good stories felt the book lacked something, was a bit repetitive in parts as well, I had to keep checking that I hadn't already read a page as it seemed a repeat

Great from start to finish
Really enjoyed Micah’s book and got through it in two sittings, which is always a good sign.Micah comes across in a refreshingly honest way and whilst he did ‘burst onto the scene’, there’s a lot of humility in the book as he finds himself drifting further away from the peak of his career (you forget just how good he was at 17) which gives the whole book an endearing feel.I felt I learned a lot about a modern dressing room and there’s a great balance of light and dark moments from his career whilst the book flows nicely with every chapter bringing out a smile.I’m an Arsenal fan and whilst I’d certainly not have imagined buying his book a few years back, I have enjoyed his rise to the top of the punditry game and equally really enjoyed his book. Well worth it, especially at the price.

Bursting onto the Book Scene
Big Meeks deserves to be protected at all costs! He burst onto the scene as a footballer, pundit, and now novelist!

Intéressant
Intéressant. Il répète un peu trop qu'il était une jeune star, qu'il est le plus jeune défenseur en équipe nationale, qu'il a gagne ci et ça,... Usant à la longue.
