solid poly mesh filter material cuts easily
I have that strange filter housing that is sold here on Amazon that uses a non-standard 9 1/4 inch filter. Since these filters are hard to find without buying the expensive kit that includes the unnecessary (in my case) carbon filter, I needed to find some filters that could be cut to size. These fit the bill perfectly as they are a solid mesh that cuts cleanly with a miter saw, as you can see in my picture. They work perfectly in my filter. Obviously, they would work out of the package in your 20 inch filter just fine.
