The spit rod arrived in a box 2 times longer than needed i could have fitted at least 5 spit rods in there own box in side the package. the rod fits spot on into my cypriot bbq rotisserie motor there is a little play when I attached my shish wheel i think this can be overcome with longer thumb screws.

I found the Amazon web display no easier than the Dancook web site, and made the mistake of ordering a 62cm spit for a 50cm barbecue. Solved that problem, but the Dancook Spit/Motor/Barbecue joint assembly is not a very good fit, and required a lot of fiddling about to get a smooth operation. Worth the effort though, and had a great result. Prongs worked well, but needed the additional set for added stability.

Der Spieß ist schön lang und stabil. Durch die 4-Kant form halten die Schrauben der Fixiergabeln auch super. Ein paar cm vor den Enden der Stange sind in die 4-Kant Form zwei Lauf-Flächen eingedreht (runder Querschnitt) damit der 4- Kant nicht auf den Auflagern rumhoppelt. Klasse Lösung. Das Ende des 4-Kants passt in die Servo-Verbindung hervorragend hinein. Die Gabeln selbst musste ich etwas zurechtbiegen, damit sie schön ins Fleisch gesteckt werden können.Beim Hähnchengrillen würde ich trotzdem darauf achten, dass die Gabeln im Wirbelbereich und im Brustbein stecken, da sonst wenig Auflagefläche beim ausgenommenen Hahn vorhanden ist und das Tier beim Grillen weicher wird.Alles in allem eine sehr stabile und preiswerte Lösung.

Ist halt ein Drehspieß und er funktioniert :-)

Atencion no es válido para la barbacoa 8100 por ser más largo y no ajustarse a los orificios por donde debría rodar. Aun así y teniendo en cuenta esto la calidad es buena y cumple la funcion, sobretodo acoplado a un motor giratorio.
