this really worked well and it is a great shame that they have now discontinue the clear product

Reason for purchase. I used product on matt painted walls in my hallway as every time my dog got wet, she was rubbing off the paint onto her fur. Unfortunately, i only painted half way up the walls. Therefore, you can see, almost like a clear 'tide' line running along the hallway. Which means you need to paint on product....top to bottom to avoid 'tide' marks. The product 'runs' alot a leaves thick white streaks. Disappointing. I was hoping this product was going to do what it said on the tin....P.S. Needed 2 coats.

My whole house is decorated with dark matt paint walls which mark white when touched.I have been painting for over 20 years and know how to avoid tide marks and roller marks - but this stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to paint on without leaving any.I did the one room that I mixed my own paint for and couldn't replicate in a silk version so it will have to stay patchy but the main bedroom is horrendous. Even when rollering over the wet edges, the liquid dries SO fast that it just doesn't blend in. Even when it's wet, those overlay areas end up staying white (the liquid is milky so you can see where it's applied)After doing the whole room and part ceiling (the walls curve!) i think i will just have to go and get a silk version made up and repaint the whole room again from scratch.SO... If you have a small area to do then it's probably fine. If you have big walls then really don't bother! Go get a silk version made up that's scrubbable as it will be a lot easier to sort and touch up!

Does exactly what it says on the tin! Grubby kids hand prints and mud from the dogs wipes of instantly.....and the paint stays on the wall. Wish I'd found this year's ago. Will use every where now!

It does was it says on the tin, great product for protecting you paint work.

Inside the tin there is rust in all 4 tin that I bought. I had no choice but to empty the content out into another bucket and use it as I needed to get my house ready ASAP. So guys bottom line is it’s a brilliant product but there are issues with the packaging. I have painted another room with the same product in my house it has been 3years, no yellowing or defects easy to wipe too

I wanted to like this product, but it leaves yellowish patches when dries up is you put a tiny bit more (it happens unintentionally from time to time). Now I have to repaint my wall (((((( it was perfect before this product.
