I've used these a lot since getting them and I'm really impressed by themThey feel very robust (ie they're heavy!), they grip very well and are easy to put on and take offWay better than mu old G cramps

These clamps are well made and solid unlike a lot of Silverline products!, I couldn't believe how heavy the package was when they were delivered! - Don't let their cheap price put you off these are equally as good as those costing several times the price from other tool retailers - I suspect, they may even be the same clamp just with a different handle... pull up equally as well as my HD Irwin Quik clamps and are a lower profile for tighter applications. Have had a lot of abuse building a large timber workshiop with no breakages so far.

Well made, solid construction, and nice rubber handle to make the final application of load. Perfect for woodworking and I am sure it will last forever. Wish I had bought a larger one, in terms of height and radius. You never know what else it can be used for. I for example used it to temporarily hold a vice to a bench. It worked and the vice was a stanley max steel 150mm one that was heavy.Only negative is that the points of contact are plastic that fit over the metal but come off. Potentially they could be glued but they fit right back on with a little friction. A good side is that wooden replacements could easily be molded to cover a larger surface if one was worried about force damaging materials. Even simpler is to use scrap wood for whatever job you need.Price is excellent, amazon amazing as always. And my thanks to silverline for producing an essential workshop item with quality and strength at a price one can reach and not regret. .

Did the job

Handles are flimsy 1 snapped the first week of use when tightening up, other 2 are still going, use them daily so will see how long they last!

Great clamp, I have heavily used it already clamping heavy oak railway sleepers. Strong and very easy to use

I was a bit worried about buying these because I had read the few negative reviews just as I always do before ordering anything but I tell you what... the pair that I bought are fantastic.I have always struggled with my workmate/bench when it comes to holding wide pieces of wood and usually end up using my knee to try and pin shelves etc to the top of the bench while I cut them.I remember using G clamps when doing woodwork at school and as I’ve started taking more pride in my work I decided to invest in some decent clamps.These worked brilliantly for me today holding my wood firmly while I worked it with circular and jig saws fitting new shelves in the kitchen cupboards.These have easily paid for themselves doing one job and I reckon they’ll last me for a good few years because I look after my tools and don’t abuse them.I feel bad for anyone that bought these and didn’t like them. Maybe they were just unlucky because the ones I received I can highly recommend.
