Great for large-scale projects
This set of jumbo size acrylic markers are perfect for large art projects like posters. There's a really good variety of colors. The nibs are flat and rectangular which allow for precise edges, but may be difficult to draw organic shapes. I liked how the ink was very fluid paint, it was opaque and dries to a nice color. This is great for children's art projects, but I would suggest usage with adult supervision because the ink is acrylic paint.

Great For Filling In Large Areas
These are some pretty nifty markers. I like the choice of colors, especially the metallic ones. They are large and appear to hold a decent amount of paint. It was disconcerting, however, when the wick popped out of four markers upon opening the cap. Thus far, fortunately, this has happened only with markers that have not been primed. I think I'd have a cow if a wick full of paint landed anywhere but on my canvas.Priming the markers took a bit longer than I'd like. Prior to officially using them in a project, I'd recommend taking a bit of casual time just to prime them. This will prevent the frustration of the slow flow. However, once primed, the markers are great. They are more for filling large areas. Despite the relative convenience, the price is a bit steep for the few markers you get in the package.

Nice Posca alternative
These wide nib (15 MM) acrylic markers are good. The ink is opaque (see photo), even the white. That's one mark on vivid blue. I have only tested the white, "red", black and green so far. The light in my photo is very warm so the colors are off. The white is a titanium white in person. The red is more of a salmon than a primary red. You will need to shake quite a bit to get them going, and also press the tips maybe 24 x. But that's how acrylic markers work. They are super juicy and I look forward to using them with gel printing.I gave them one star for transparency. That's because this product is not made to be transparent. Opaqueness is the goal and they did well on that score. Definitely a good choice for thick markers.

effective paint method for small flat objects
I got these markers to paint little wooden snowflakes that I intend to let my students decorate as little holiday ornament/gifts. I wanted a way to paint them easily and neatly. These paint markers do the job. Brushes are messy and tricky on the detail of the snowflakes but the wide markers are quick and have good coverage (the pics show one quick coat - a second will probably be better). Before getting the markers, I even tried wite-out because I know it has good coverage. It made for a messy and globby project. This is what I know so far: It took a little bit of work and time to get the paint down into the felt tip of the marker. If you look for it, you can see the felt getting wet with paint as you pounce the marker on a scrap of paper. Once the paint reached the felt tip, it painted the little snowflakes easily. I capped each marker carefully after I used it and then left them a couple of weeks. I was wondering if the felt would dry up and stop me using them again. Nope, I shook the marker until the ball inside had a chance to mix the paint, and then painted more snowflakes. Shaking the marker this time put some paint into the lid and around the working end of the marker. Not a lot, but enough that I cleaned it up. Another marker, I shook only 8 times before using it this second use and there was no extra paint in the lid.I don't know the square footage of coverage these markers have, nor how long they will last in storage without drying up, but they fit my purpose perfectly and I'm happy I got them.UPDATE: With about half the markers, the felt tip falls out before the first use or fallen out after using, presumably when shaking the marker. BE AWARE - this is messy. Perhaps only a gentle shake is advisable. I STILL LOVE these markers. The paint dries fast and is quite opaque on the wooden snowflakes. The kids using them love them, too.

This came with a cut tip on the yellow marker and the paint flows out everywhere!
So mad. The foam tips also pop out when they are the correct length and you don’t even know it until you’re in the middle of using them and then they go everywhere!
