Seems sturdy
They were hard to put on my stove. I had to give them a good push but was able to get them on. They seem much sturdier than the knobs that came with my stove - I just put them on so hopefully they will last.

No More Plastic!
Ordered these as replacement for my flaking, bubbling, cheesy plastic knobs on my GE stove. For the price of the oven you'd think they'd have solid knobs. HA! No such luck. The originals were very thin plastic and the numbers started flaking off and there was some bubbling I assume from the heat of the oven. Looked around on several sites, including the manufacturer's, and all of them had the same description "Metal look". Sad. Finally found these (less expensive than many of the "OEM" offerings out there) and the only ones that said "solid metal". Thought it too good to be true, but given the price I figure I'd take a shot. Well, I couldn't be happier. Solid metal as advertised and a nice tight fit on the stove. Only thing I can't speak to yet is the durability. Pretty sure that bubbling won't be an issue, but we'll see if we get the same issue of the numbers flaking off. Time will tell and if there IS a problem, I'll update this review; but as of today I am more than happy with the purchase. I see some folks in other reviews complaining that the knobs didn't fit their grill. Don't think it the description it talked about grills anywhere. Please read the information on compatible models. If you've got a matching model, I couldn't recommend these highly enough.

Great Knobs Better than Original
Great replacement. I don't often write reviews as most items I purchase are average. These replacement knobs encouraged me to write an outstanding review for my GE oven. Original, plastic GE knobs were peeling and became unsightly. My model was not listed but the measurements in the item description proved that they would work. First thing I noticed when I received the knobs is that they were quite a bit heavier and made of steel (not plastic like the GE original knobs), possibly stainless steel and a quality replacement. High quality, durability and a 5 star recommendation.

Looks Great!
The "chrome" paint on the original plastic knobs has worn off so I wanted to try something better. These are metal and look really nice.
