From the P16 user manual..."The signals may include phantom power for microphones that require it. The P16's outputs are connected directly to the inputs (pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 and pin 3 to pin 3) so that phantom power passes through unchanged. Please note, however, that you should be extremely careful not to connect phantom power to an input or output not designed to handle it."
