Great price and it works
Worked solidly. Installing it was super easy, just screwing in the existing bath drain. It drained and stopped draining normally. It was easy to use and felt solid. Looks good. Great price.

High quality drop in replacement for Click Clack Tip Toe Pop Up Bathtub Drain
We bought this house in 2013 and the tip toe push push pop up drain worked well. On an occasion after hard hard physical yard work, I decided to take a slow bath. And the water was leaking out. That was several years ago, because I had no idea that this thing just screws out, easily from above! I measured and jumped on AMZ, located this fantastic part, and boom, 2 days later, installed all fixed. Just screw the plastic top off your existing pop up counter clockwise, reveals a large flat screw brass part. Unscrew the whole cartridge. Unscrew the top from this part. Thread it into the threaded base. Tighten up with a large flat head screw driver. Screw on the plastic top. Boom, you are done. Thanks Westbrass, great product! AAAA++++

Simple Installation, Operates Smoothly, Works Perfectly
The old bath drain plug lost it's "spring" - essentially refusing to pop up from the closed position. The Westbrass Bathtub Drain Stopper was a perfect fit (3/8" for me), was simple to install, operates smoothly, and does it's job without leaks. What more do you need?

Brass Screw, Solid Click Mechanism, No Instructions
Replaced a broken plastic toggle stopper, the cheap kind that you push on one edge to open, the other edge to close. No instructions in this stopper package. You need to unscrew the top plastic chrome cap to expose the screw slot which you use to screw this into the drain. My drain threads were gummed up with lime, so this new stopper would not screw in low enough for the rubber gasket to stop the drain. I ran a 3/8-16 tap through the hole in the drain, then the stopper seated ok.The solid brass screw down the center feels quality. The plastic push-to-close/push-to-open click mechanism (giant version of a ball point pen clicker) feels robust. This stopper closes and opens the drain as it should.

Meh
When taking baths I need to be careful not to bump it or else it may come up and start slowly draining the bath

Good bathtub drain stopper
I needed to replace a leaking pop up drain stopper in a large jetted tube in our master bathroom. I bought this one on Amazon and after two months it’s still working fine. I recommend this drain stopper.

Westbrass vs Danco
My old one broke and had a plastic center screw. When I was looking to replace it I wanted something with a metal screw, either stainless steel or brass. I ordered both Danco and Westbrass to compare. The Danco has 2 brass tips and works for both size screw sets. Also it has 2 different size rubber gaskets. That being said Westbrass has a solid brass screw and the quality of the parts are significantly better. If you know what size thread you have 5/16 or 3/8 I highly recommend Westbrass over Danco if you want quality that will last longer.
