I purchased this because I needed to replace a small, 3 drawer nightstand, but I also wanted to add book storage. In addition, the placement was going to be in front of a window, so I needed a lower shelving unit. I originally intended to purchase a wide and short set of book shelves, and just add baskets or totes for the items I used to keep in my nightstand. This looks much better! I’m incredibly pleased with the look. I also assembled it myself. There were lots of pieces, so it took well over an hour to slowly put together. However, the directions were clear, and I was easily able to do it myself. I’m so glad that Amazon suggested this, based on the search terms I had put in. I would have never thought to look at children’s furniture. It’s better than what I was looking for!

Quick and concise directions took minimal time to put together and it’s great for teaching the littles where their items go when clean or end of day.

The instruction booklet graphics weren't consistent through the book, the pieces we received and pre-drilled holes didn't match.Mostly with the drawer tracks holes being compl off center and possibly boards labeled backwards to what the booklet showedKind of disappointed because furniture isn't made like it used to be to drill new holes to make it work

Goes together pretty easily, very durable!
