Great quality cable
I've been playing guitar for something like 30 years and gig regularly, along the way I have used pretty much every brand of lead going. It definitely pays to use a decent quality cable as they are so much more reliable, and a cheapo cable really can suck your tone! I stumbled across these Planet Waves cables recently and was so impressed that I have now swapped out all of my leads for these! The only lead I buy
I work in a school and run a guitar club. The amount of kids that get through multiple cables per year is mind blowing. Every now and then one listens to my advice and buys one of these and the problem stops! I've had my original well over 10 years and it's still going strong. These are the only cables I buy to use at home and at work and I've not had one let me down yet!
