Crystal Cut Glass Round Ashtray Ash Tray ZG

I can't rate the product itself as I haven't gotten that far. The outer packaging smelled really bad, even the bubble wrap under that smelled really bad, and the individual boxes the ashtrays came in smelled really bad. I have them airing out outside before I go further. I wasn't buying these for use as ash trays but for coaster underneath some furniture. How can black plasting wrapping, bubble wrap and boxes smell this awful?

It is what it is, a simple glass ashtray that serves the intended purpose perfectly without being flamboyant. Actual size is 4-1/4 inches in diameter. Shipped from China via postal mail and arrived at U.S. address 16 days after placing order. Package was appropriately bubble wrapped to survive international shipping.
