Well worth the extra cost!
These mesh heads cost a lot more than most other brands but I just had to give them a go and the result is AMAZING!I used this Roland mesh head on my 12 inch Alesis e-snare drum and the difference is so notable in both playing and sound. The triggering is so much better and the bounce is much closer to an acoustic snare!Not tried the REMO silent stroke (REMO make the Roland mesh head) because they are more transparent and I don’t want to see the inside of my electric kit so tried the Roland head and so pleased I did!Will be replacing the full kit with these soon.

Mine last for 3 months and then split in the middle. The stock head that I replaced lasted 5 years in comparison

Wow factor
These skins are a great idea ,, I have them with triggers on. I can control the sound levels with a amplifier and use td9 module .You could use microphones round them , you don't need a dear kit . Bog standard with these skins on and triggers module and amp .Brilliant

This is the perfect replacement for the original V drum mesh head. Works the same but better

Don't last long at all.
Don't know if I've had a bad batch or what but the last one I bought didn't even last an hour. The remo one pictured lasts longer and is half the price so I am going to use that from now on.
