Novoflex MICROPOD Tripod Kit w/ BALL19 Head (MICROSTATIV)

I have a number of mini /desk top type pods.They all do different things and no one is suitable for every situation.This one is fine for raising the camera clear of the surface by some 12cms and weighs just 150gr. The feet cannot be collapsed and must be removed and inserted straight down into alternate holes in the base for transportation. This setting up and dismantling is a bit fiddly (reduced by one star) but makes it easier to fit into a smaller camera bag.Now here is where the unit is superb - the head. Provided the legs are positioned correctly, it is capable of supporting a Sony RX10 with Marumi macro 330 without falling over. The ball head is very well engineered.The whole unit is finished in an anodized blue and to prevent slippage the legs have rubber feet.Despite being an old design I would highly recommend it.

Using with my X-T1, easy to assembly quickly and very stable. Small footprint so can take with me anywhere. Pricey but you're getting what you paid for.

This thing is awesome. I modified mine to have carbon fibre legs.
