Low Latency ✅Hall Effect ✅
Some interesting choices but a very capable controller. I hope it lasts many years and so far, I have no reason to believe it wouldn't. The latency is amazing. XInput reports 0.955ms. I purchased this on the latency claims and the controller delivers. I have now swapped over from the Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro for the 90% reduction in input latency that is definitely noticeable. I opted for the wired T4 Kaleid over the latest wireless Gamesir offerings as they are limited to 250hz polling I believe. Joysticks and triggers are great, smooth, no resistance, definitely hall effect. All the face buttons are micro-switches I believe. So ABXY feel like mouse clicks instead of a standard rubber dome controller face button. Weird but weighted nicely and very responsive. No complaints. The D-Pad switches are softer, feels more like a rubber dome switch setup but all feels good. The rear macro buttons can be assigned to another button or a series of buttons on the fly. Also clicky micro switches but placed nicely and very responsive. Build quality is great. The textured and gloss plastic all looks and feels great. No soft touch coatings to deteriorate and become sticky. The cable is a standard, replaceable type C cable. The type C port is also recessed quite far into the body of the controller to protect the port from cable stresses. Finding a replacement cable may be more difficult but the port should be protected from most drops etc. The screen printing on the exposed internal circuit boards looks great. A shame that the actual electronics aren't visible but still looks cool. Lighting is bright and colourful, maybe a little excessive but looks great. I setup a slow light profile in the software with a max brightness of 5% on each LED. Less blinding now. The windows software just about works. Windows thinks it has crashed every time it opens. Once it loads and recognises the controller, click into a profile and set the polling rate to 1000hz! The software holds 4 profiles and only one is loaded onto the controller at a time. Each profile can remap each button, adjust joystick and trigger output range (dead zone), vibration intensity, adjustable gyro output and have 4 lighting modes. If you want the reliability of a wired controller, I have found nothing better then this one so far. ORDER PLACED 29 September 2023 TOTAL £35.69

Rock solid controller with no drift, but the software can be tricky
I bought this as a "one for all" controller for my Switch, PC and Xbox and it does not disappoint. I can switch between Switch, Xbox, PlayStation and Android modes by holding down the Gamesir button along with one of the ABXY buttons for a couple of seconds which makes it really easy when switching between games on the PC. For example I played Spiderman and Miles Morales on the PC with the controller in PS mode and then switched to Xbox mode for Cyberpunk. One of the reasons I chose this controller was that it supports gyro controls in Switch and Playstation modes and it works really well. The PC software allows you to set up just about everything on the controller, from stick sensitivity, button mapping and trigger activation all the way to the colour gradients of the LED strips around the controller into 3 profiles! The only downside I found is that if you make a mistake with a profile, such as turning off the gyro in Switch mode, that profile cannot be cleared. I'm not sure why that profile was broken but the lack of a reset button is a real oversight. Some of the options are also a little hard to understand and with the possibility of getting stuck with a mistake I'm wary of experimenting. That doesn't really take away from the fact that this is the best controller I've used in a long time and the only things that could make it better would be improved software and wireless mode (though there is a more expensive model which has this), though as I'm mostly using it on PC that's not too big a deal.

This controller is NOT perfect
This controller does so much right, and if you liked the G7 and want hall effect sticks - this is a great place to start. Obviously MUCH is highly subjective. I have tried a lot of controllers, even over priced ones from Microsoft, Thrustmaster, Razer etc. Before this I used the 8bitdo Ultimate and then the G7on Xbox and PC. Both were excellent but I slightly preferred the G7. I currently own both the G7 and the T4K so I have tried them side by side - this is important, be careful listening to anybody who has not had them side by side in hand and is making comparisons. I plan to update this review because I have only had the T4K for two days, this is not enough time. I had a couple of issue out the box, I am still testing to see if they are resolved. Against the G7 this is, for me, a step up in near every way, the back buttons are a side step mind, and slightly more hollow feeling and sounding, they could be improved but are fine with decent positioning. The sticks are wonderful. The Thumb grips themselves are terrible for me, as they are also on the 8bitdo and G7 - I have to use a Galaxy mid rise FPS freak, otherwise I could not use any of them, AT ALL, so this drives up the cost. D-PAD is for me, far nicer than the G7. ABXY are slightly better for me, easier to actuate multiple and perfectly functional, nice to use. Ergonomics slightly different to the G7, it feels maybe 5% 'Bulkier' however it's very comfortable for me, and perfect after 24 hours use, slightly better than the G7. Triggers are slightly smoother action than the G7 - better for me. The grip material is perfect for me, I am not a fan of rubber grips, I 'put up with them' on the G7 but I am very pleased to see them gone for the T4K. I absolutely will update this review but wanted to get something out there as there is almost nothing on this controller yet and Gamesir have done so much right here. Absolutely worth a try. Price is passable, it's a wired controller, only two back buttons and without trigger stops, £40 is the absolute maximum it is worth in my opinion no matter how much RGB you cram in. Really great controller for me though, and in a market where most of these 'gaming' products are absurdly priced, this is reasonable. 4.5 Stars for the price - at £35 however this would have been a 5 star product for me WITHOUT QUESTION. Great work Gamsir.

BIS controller for racing games on PC.
I've been looking for a very precise controller for mainly when I want to sit back and relax from my sim wheel in racing games like BeamNG, assetto corsa, and various arcade racers. I've had some okay controller's but usually they develop faults in the first month with the sticks and rear triggers from repeat fast inputs. So far had this controller for over a month and still feels like brand new, controller deadzone is set at 0 on each stick and there is 0 drift even after my Mach 2 fingers start to try to hold a steering angle mid corner. In a blind test against a ps4 controller where I first think of a percentage and then press the trigger button appropriately to see what percentage of throttle input I get, I can get close to 2% off my mark using the T4K compared to 10% on the ps4 controller. This is minly because of the perfect tension on the T4Ks triggers, the fact it's also using hall effect like the sticks increasing accuracy further, and the travel distance being perfect too. Cannot blame anything on this controller apart from the slightly buggy app that you need to download off the windows store for Windows. I'd say it's about as buggy as the Logitech g hub software so not bad at all, especially when you consider razer software and their product budget. Adding on to the app, I have an option to enable 1000hz polling after updating it. So far I've yet to notice any difference between 500 and 1000 but it's a nice addition anyway. RGB is nice but I'm not the biggest fan of RGB anyway on controllers as it sits on my lap when I play so I don't notice it at all, could be a distraction because it's pretty well made, reminds me of a budget Corsair RGB stick of ram.

Terrible, and faulty
looks great and feels good in hand, but its all over the place, slight movement side to side if standing still, goes off on its own at times, one second im pointing straight next its off on its own round and round, have updated it as well and set the max polling rate, but tbh at this moment I'm not really happy with it. will give it a few more days and see if it sorts itself out update: only 5mins later popped back into game and theres now a fault with the right trigger, its impossible to zoom as shown in quick video. this really is a piece of junk if im being honest. its being returned

So good for its price but .....
Using this for rocket league .... feels so smooth & responsive. The sticks & the triggers are amazing. The bumpers feel great, tactile & dontworry me that they'll break like the thrustmaster eswap series but .... the face buttons feel great although the Y button has started double inputting after 2 weeks so i'm in the process of a refund/replacement via amazon. Hopefully the new one lasts longer? I would say 4 out of 5 but for this issue, if the replacement is solid then imo its the best value esports aimed controller available right now.

New Standard in Gamepads
Have always owned official Xbox Gamepads from the standard to the Elite versions, All have been great until inevitably stick drift becomes an issue. This time I went with the GameSir pad as it uses a contactless system to register stick movement using Hall Effect Sensors which register changes in magnetic fields rather than the gimble style potentiometers which eventually wear the contact surfaces and cause the dreaded stick drift. As a bonus the sensitivity rate of the sensors can be adjusted providing differing calibrations and sensitivities to stick movements. The difference is instantly apparent, with more accurate, precise control. The build quality of the triggers and buttons is also of as high a standard. Absolutely recommend these to anyone reading through reviews. For the asking price they are an absolute steal, get one before the price shoots up because if they were double the price they'd still be worth every penny. Pad also can be fully customised on PC with button layout and x2 rear buttons upon downloading software suite, which is easy to use and causes no issues or conflicts, as these suites often are prone to doing.

Excellent controller for the price (Working on linux)
Everything about the controller is great, the couple of problems I have with it are just preference. I'm not a huge fan of the face buttons but they are perfectly fine, and I'd prefer 4 back-paddles as opposed to 2. That's really about all my complaints. I bought this as a replacement for my Xbox Elite Series II after the RB stopped working entirely., and my experience with it has been just about as good. It's not quite as hefty and doesn't have the same customisation, but the defaults are more than good enough. As an aside for linux users, I personally had to add a udev rule to force the controller to use the xpad driver so that it would be recognised correctly, and the nintendo switch mode of the controller causes the kernel to seemingly lock up. This is fine as the default mode is for it to use xbox when it recognises it's been plugged into a PC, but if you leave it plugged in at startup it will initialise in switch mode presumably because the PC can't tell the controller it's a PC yet. Make sure to only plug it in when everything's initialised on Linux. Once I forced it to use xpad the controller worked flawlessly, other than the aforementioned issue without it causing the kernel to freeze up when set to nintendo switch mode.

Worst seller, couldn't return it
I was able to return it back because the seller was ghosting my calls and pick ups. Don't buy this, the gyroscope has so many dead zones, not worth it

Perfeito

GameSir?? YES SIR!!!!
- UPDATE!! The latest firmware and app version allow for setting the polling rate up to 1000hz!! This means the input delay can be shaved down to sub 1ms!! Best value PC gamepad on the market hands down!! - The T4 Kaleid is a great gamepad for many reasons, and not just because that sexy black PCB and clear shell! There are so many great features this gamepad has to offer as well as long lasting components and low input delay for a responsive experience. - The controller is recognized as an Xbox 360 gamepad in Windows 11 (XB1 in Steam) (X360 in reWASD) - 4ms(250hz) consistent input delay in PC mode (8ms gyroscope) - 8ms(125hz) consistent input delay in Switch mode (used reWASD to emulate X360 gamepad to measure) - Overclocking this gamepad did nothing as the jitter is already non-existent and polling rate locked - I did not test the other input modes for the gamepad - The hall effect joysticks in this gamepad are not made by GuliKit but feel very similar to the ones found on the 8-BitDo Ultimate and less like the KingKong 2 Pro - There are no anti-friction rings but the plastic around my joysticks is very smooth not catching at all - Using the software, you have total control over the deadzones of both joysticks - You can set the joysticks to raw mode through the software and completely disable the outer deadzone offering more precision however this will affect the circularity of the joysticks in both PC and Switch mode (PC mode turns from a circle to a circular square and Switch mode turns completely square) - With the outer deadzones capped to 95% I was getting near perfect circularity readings - Face buttons are super long lasting but will be subjective, I wish the plastic was matte, not glossy but I enjoy that they are cushioned and offer a satisfying click much like a mouse (they take getting used to because there is no feeling of bottoming out) - Capture button is only detected when in Switch mode - While I do prefer symmetrical joystick layouts like the DualSense offers, this gamepad is very comfortable for long periods of gaming (very lightweight and ergonomic) - The gamepad is wired only, but for me this was no issue as I grew up in the 90s and offers longevity as well as reduces e-waste - The included cable is very decent quality, thick and braided but keep in mind that the hole on the gamepad where the cable goes will only accept oval shapes - The D-pad is not terrible and for single inputs is very accurate however I still prefer the membrane ones found on the 8-BitDo Ultimate especially for games like Mario and Donkey Kong - The back buttons are limited to being mapped as the other controller buttons which is expected, but they are very easy to change on the fly without the use of software - Lighting effects have presets and brightness levels that can be adjusted on the controller without need for software - Vibration levels can be adjusted without software - ABXY layout can be swapped on the fly without software - You can easily change between input modes by holding the GameSir logo button and ABXY buttons (by default my controller goes into Switch mode when booting into Windows so requires me to manually change it or unplug and re-plug) - Can set hair trigger mode without the use of software (hold M button + L or R trigger for about 4 seconds) however this does not work in Switch mode probably due to Switch using digital triggers - The triggers are also hall effect and feel very smooth and can be completely adjusted using the software - Contrary to other people, I had only 1 issue where the software crashed when I was changing lighting effects on the controller and personally I love that the software is easy to use and not bloated like something you might find by Razer or Logitech - Overall, I just can't think of a better gamepad for this price point. I own a KingKong 2 Pro, 8-Bitdo Ultimate, and have upgraded 3 sets of joy-cons with GuliKit replacement joysticks, and these are the best feeling hall effect sticks on the market right now in my opinion. I've tried to go back to my DualSense Edge a few times since my purchase and I just can't, and for the price of just 2 replacement pot sticks from Sony you could be the proud owner of this masterpiece! Keep up the great work GameSir!

Gran mando.

Great bang for the buck Hall effect / mechanical controller
I think this is the cheapest hall effect controller you can get on Amazon. Bonus with the mechanical face buttons, the clicks are so satisfying and it's good to know it'll last longer than normal membrane buttons. Goes well with my mech keyboard. The controller has heft and the build quality is great. Love that it has 2 extra mappable buttons under the controller, useful for fighting games or racing games where you up/down shift. RGB lighting can be a turnoff for some, but I like it, goes well with my RGB set up. Windows detects it's an xbox controller, and I have yet to test it with switch games on the PC. But I hope it works.
