Yes it does. I have purchased and tested this screen. Works great!

Have you changed the home button from your old screen, are you using one that come with the replacement? The one that comes with the replacement doesn’t have fingerprints working as iPhone have locked the original one to you phone, check the connection inside test again before closing it. Inspect the ribbon cable if any cuts

Swap the proximity sensor from the old screen into the new screen and see if that corrects the issue. I had to swap the home button because the phone would not register the print scanner on the one that came with the new screen.

It certainly sounds like the screen could be at fault, id maybe lift it again, disconnect battery and reseat the screen cables and test again. If that doesn't work, id get in touch with Amazon support to get a replacement
