Purchased size medium for a medium range adult Shetland sheepdog. Really love the reflective visibility for a short dog at dark walk times, as well as the control handle on the back. He’s fluffy, but the medium is small enough that I could adjust the straps to fit snugly without chaffing or running out of strap to adjust. With a pop over the head and a single girth clip, It’s VERY easy to put on and off when necessary. Haven’t tried the martingale feature, for now his tags are there, and the chest strap clip hangs low enough that the tags are visible in his ruff. Only complaint is that there is no pocket to stuff the license and rabies tags into on the back if I wanted him to have a silent running mode. Could probably stitch one on myself.Very pleased with the construction, ease of use, and dog comfort.

Can’t recommend this harness enough! Was searching for a harness with strength and durability but hated all those tactical harnesses. Just seemed like they’re aesthetically appealing and bulky. When this harness came up, I was surprised since I didn’t know Carhartt made dog gear. It’s at a great price point as well; comparing it to other like harnesses.My dog never uses a collar, so this harness goes on and comes off him multiple times a day for walks. Some time has passed since I bought it and writing this review and I haven’t once had to adjust the straps because they’ve loosened. In place since the initial adjustment when I fit it on my dog. Holds up well to his unexpected pulls when he must sniff a scent. Handle strap holds well in my hand if I need to keep him close to me. He runs great with it on; no interferences.Great product and highly recommend!!

Great color, great design, great craftsmanship, and easy to use. I especially like the design, which makes putting it on so much easier than with other designs. You just slip the dog's head through the neck strap, wrap the chest strap around their chest, secure the clasp, and you're good to go. No wrestling the dog's legs into holes first. The metal leash bracket is very sturdy and accommodates any kind of leash. Both straps (neck and chest) can be adjusted, and the neck strap sits low enough that you don't have to worry about choking, especially considering that the leash bracket is at the back of the harness.

The strap that goes under his stomach has caused a slight red irritation rash. He regularly goes on 3 mile walks twice a day, and does pull occasionally. Beagle puppy, 10 month old at time of injury, had been using the harness for at least two months before, taking a short break now to allow healing.The image is after a week of taking a break from the harness. Fits great , sturdy and has not worn out at all. Easy to wash if need, then hang dry. Only complaint is the buckle. You have to squeeze the sides to release, and it was very difficult at first. After a few times the release opens easier. If you have issues with squeezing and applying pressure, you may want a different harness. Otherwise it's perfect.

The media could not be loaded. Great harness! It looks beautiful, comfortable, very well made, works great! I love it and the dog too. I got medium for my 22lb puppy labradoodle. It has a lot of room for him to grow in it. I don’t think I will need a large but, idk how big the dog will be. So, I’ll wait (or maybe not) to get at least one more color, the Carhartt characteristic color because it’s beautiful too. Very well done and excellent to walk him without pulling him off the neck.
