STANLEY 140mm Moulded Body Surform Flat Fine Cut Blade File, 5-21-0102

The lightness, compactness and slight lengthwise curve of the blade make this a very useful tool for any general handyman's tool box. Great for easing sticking doors or windows without removing huge amounts of wood where it's not required.Note that these have been moulded in yellow, reinforced plastic for years, so the illustration showing a red one must be ancient.

Great little tool n nice and sharp but 1 minus is the fact that it is made from plastic which makes it a bit light in hand and feels delicate for the job it is intended for otherwise good.

I needed this to shave off some of the door to 2 bedrooms. Bit of a brutish result but it did the job with ease. Great value.

The file is ideal for hard to get to places, it is very easy to use a very good toolL

First time of using it, had to take cardboard out so loosened off rasp, it snapped in half on getting it back in place

Though made out of plastic, product seems to be fairly robust.I use it for removing excess plaster when creating moulds for casting glass.Easy to clean and easy screw to change/remove blade for cleaning.Can be used with 2 hands due to the extension / overhang.

A little disappointed in this product as its fairly flimsy and the cutting blades do not work particularly well as you have to apply a lot of pressure to get a cut
