Worked great at first
Worked great for the first few weeks, yesterday the flow was barely doing anything, cleaned it and it seemed to work till the next day it’s barely pushing water again..

Great for my 50 gallon
I use this in my 48” long tank and it does a good job keeping the flow. I wasn’t sure how well it would perform since the tank is so long, but all the coral and fish seem to enjoy it so far. It was easy to apply and seems to be on the glass really well.

Low quality
The cord is short. The suction power is not good. The part where you can tighten it at the angle you want does not work. It is still loose and just dangles there.

Strong flow for the river tank
I really wanted to give my Corydoras a homey feel with the river flow they're used to. This fan certainly does the trick. If you put the filter on the opposite side of the tank it makes for a pretty efficient cleaning system too.

One time use
Used once for 24hrs to mix my water bucket. Didn’t work at all the second time.

Decent power, tends towards one position
I got this for a freshwater tank that lives in our lunch room at work, where over the years fancy decorative fish have been replaced with bargain basement bettas living among plastic skulls, sunken ships, and gravel that was mined before the invention of fire. Needless to say the cluttered environ and lack of fancy fins allowed for, nay begged for, something to aggressively circulate the water. Our thoughts:What we like:- Moves the water well. We have a 15 gallon tank, and this pushes water along the entire length of the back wall and creates a mini turbulent area in the far corner.- Super quiet. I had to check it was still working a number of times. When fully submerged, you can barely hear it.- Dull, stealth design. Our tank is full of garish 'decorations', so this wave maker being neutral in color helps to not add to the visual cacophony.- Nice long cord. Cord was a good length, reaching out of the tank with ease. What we thought needed improvement:- Angle adjuster doesn't hold well. We'd wanted it angled down and to the side, but over the course of a few hours the jet of water pushes it back to the same central position.- Traps poop and small fish. We had to set this on a timer, 30 mins on, 15 mins off, as small fish/fry and other bits got stuck to outer shell.- On/Off is by plugging it in. Don't look for an on/off toggle switch on the cord, it's either plugged in and powered or has to be unplugged. (Or on a timer)Overall, it does what we wanted it to do and keeps the water moving. 4/5 stars
