The media could not be loaded. I know there will be some things I have to boil on the stove but I’m going to try very hard to rarely do it from now on! This Elite Gourmet Egg Cooker and Steamer is really going to be my new go to kitchen gadget! It’s small in size and doesn’t take up much space! The ease of cleaning is quick. Just follow the instructions and everything is lightweight! I washed it first before using it and I love washing dishes anyway!It’s actually not a speedy device. It takes pretty much the same time as boiling, baking, or steaming on the stove or with your oven. It’s just safer, as I am prone to forgetting about something I’m boiling late at night! That is just reckless and dangerous and this steamer will put an end to that foolishness! The steamed egg quality was perfection, with none of the eggs sticking to the shell! They peeled away like melted butter! 😋 I have not needed to boil fourteen eggs yet but seven was on point and perfect!The value for my money is exponential in growth because, it costs me $25.62 out the door for this steamer, and it’s saving me hundreds of dollars on replacing sauce pots! Works great 23 minutes to14 perfectly hard boiled (steamed actually) eggs. Then just put them in ice water for a bit and they peel wonderfully. I really love it. Eggs are so much easier now. It is smaller than I imagined but works perfectly. did not try the rice feature. The overlay for the buttons does not quite line up with the actual buttons. The buttons are a bit closer in but after using it a few times you get used to it. Can be a bit frustrating the first time because no matter how hard you press nothing happens. Press a bit closer to the heating plate and there you go.

We had a hard boiled egg maker kind of similar to this when I was growing up, but it was aluminum. We called it the bullet. This thing is just amazing and it not only makes hard boiled eggs, but it makes the best poached eggs which I have for breakfast on a regular basis.I haven’t really tried any other features, but I highly recommend this item.

Top row of eggs do not cook properly tried to use with just the bottom row but digital buttons are too difficult to operate. Must have exact amt of water for product to turn on. Takes several trys
