I was so excited to use my new bat system for the pottery wheel. As a new potter I was unfamiliar with quality brands.The mold in the pictures occurred after first use. This product is no good. It’s clearly not made to last as it couldn’t even stand up after a single use. It fit the wheel and appeared to be fine until I checked on my pieces a couple days later. Not only was there mold that had grown profusely on every piece I threw, but each of the bat inserts I used were warped. There is a good amount of water involved in throwing pottery especially for beginners and this product is not good- don’t waste your money. Invest in a good brand.

Worked good for a bit then started to warp even when I would clean and dry flat.

Bad quality product once it gets wet you can throw it away - it is warped, it will not fit and produces mold.

I wasted good money. My husband said it would be cheap. I don't know what I hate worse. The product or, pretending I like it so he can't say he told me so. The extra square inserts I ordered with it also don't fit. The material it is made of was not meant to get wet.

I liked the price but the warping of the bot made it unusable. The inserts did not fit well after the bot warped.

These bats are not to be soaked in water. If you are experienced, and know how to use them - they are lovely! Mine fit perfectly snug - as they should. If you submerge them in water, they will become deformed. Lightly damp dust residue off after they dry and the fit will remain!

It warped so now it won’t stay on the bat pins and the square inserts don’t fit. Very cheap - don’t buy.

At first I was very excited about this system. I used it and thought the concept was great and easy. Then, two days later, after leaving my bats to dry, I came back to find the ones I had used were all moldy, which was pretty disappointing. I cleaned them off, but the mold kept returning. I'd treat these as disposable as they really just don't hold up. 2/10, would not recommend.
